Leaving in the morning and curious if either attractions are up and running. We will only be there until Mon 5/2 DH 40th B'Day celebration.

Soaring is up and running but they are not advertising that it is. We were there last week and stood in the standby line (there are no FastPasses yet). The posted wait time was 70 minutes. We were on the ride within 35 minutes. A CM who works there told us that they are still trying to get a handle on wait times for the attraction. It's amazing and worth the 35 minute wait. They are anticipating waits as long as 3 hours for this one when summer arrives.

The stunt show was also doing preview shows. There were 2 on Sunday 4/24..at 12:55pm and 3pm. The stadium holds 5,000 people. The seating area is covered, so you're in the shade but I can imagine that it will be terribly hold sitting there in August. They were not allowing food or drink into the stadium when we were there. I'm not sure if that was just because they were in "preview" mode or if that will always be the policy. The show was very good.

Soarin is still in soft opening stage. I was there last Sat. and the wait was 95 mins. Fast passes were gone early afternoon. Just take a walk over to the Land and get a FP. You may luck out.

I'm going tomorrow (Friday), as I have 6 or 7 hours to waste while visiting in Tampa. Do you think that Soarin will be open?

I don't mind the 1 hour drive, but I would like to at least be somewhat sure that the ride has a chance at being open. I know it's soft opening, and I guess there's a chance it could be down.

Any opinions?

We were just at WDW 4/23-4/27. Of the four days we checked, Soarin' was not only running but also had FP.

We were at WDW 4/20 - 4/24 and Soarin' was open. We went on it when the posted wait time was 90 minutes - we were on in less than 10 !!

Stunt Show should be running, although it has been closed a few days in order to implement the new water stunt portion of the show.
