We are going to SoA but I'm concerned my "adult" child who is picky may not like the BBQ on the chicken offered on the adult meal, if so, can we get him the kids chicken nuggets or hotdogs? Do I need to ask in advance or can we wait & see if he likes it?

ALso, can anyone tell me if the seating is like at the Biergarten? I don't mind sitting with others - I'm friendly ;) - but if the food is served family style I don't see myself THAT friendly

Thanks!

I'm betting (don't know for sure) that you can ask for your older kid to be served whatever the child's selections are - but you'll still pay the adult price for his dinner and show.

Biergarten is a buffet, it is not served family style. Yes they do communal seating. Most of the tables are for 8.

LOL - I didn't word that properly, I was asking if they seat you at the SoA the same way as at the Biergarten, in other words, duing the luau will our family be at our own table or seated with others?

There isn't a kids' meal at the luau. They bring everything family style, and kids and adults alike get the same thing.

My nephew, who was 6 at the time, is very picky, and he pretty much just ate broccoli, as he didn't like the rice or the chicken. Another nephew is allergic to milk, so they brought him food that was prepared w/o butter, and he was able to share some of that with his picky brother.

My daughters, ages 6 and 7 when we last did the luau, thought the food as great, and did not complain about it at all. In fact, I think that we had to ask for more chicken because my younger DD liked it so much.

You sit with your own family.

Thanks, couldn't tell from looking at pictures if you would have your own table

I'm hoping this is the case but if not I would like to know if he can get something else.

Does anyone know if you can get something other than the family served meal of BBQ chicken & ribs if a young "adult" doesn't like it? And do you have to request in advance or do they have kids offerings available for the asking?

I think that unless there is an allergy, this is all they serve.

I found a menu that lists separate choices for children. They can have either the family style or opt for nuggest, mac'n'cheese, PB&J or hotdogs.

So can anyone who has attended the luau with their "adult" child let me know if they were able to have their child served the kids menu items if they don't like the family style selections? Or would I need to make prior arrangements? Thanks.

Help anyone? Has anybody that has been to the luau been able to get their "adult" child items on the kids menu instead of having the family style adult choices? Did you have to make prior arrangements or were you able to just ask once you were there if your "adult" didn't like the food?

Thanks :goodvibes
