It's the Pro 5-quart mixer. It's normally between $300-350 and is going to be on sale at this store for $220, which is insane and only $40 more than the mixer that's one step down in capacity and performance. The store's not going to have many of them, so I'm planning on getting there before they even open so I can get one. I don't know what color (they apparently will have black, red, silver, and white), and I don't really care, I just want my dang KitchenAid I've wanted one of these for YEARS.

I'm not going to hold back tomorrow or Monday. I'm going to finish paying for the Disney accommodation and park tix. That'll mean that the holiday is paid in full.

I locked in my parents accommodation at a rate of 7.5. Mine is going to be closer to 8. That's more than good enough for me.


If I were in your shoes, I'd be changing some money into GBP and watching what it does overnight. The rate is good now because of the US unemployment was less than expected. News about the Greek debt situation is gonna come out on Monday night. So there may be some nervousness on Monday/Tuesday and irrespective what the news is, the currency will swing. It's just....which way.

My mom still has an old KitchenAid, but we don't have a bowl for it, so we don't use it. And our little hand mixer is, like, about to die from all the frosting I've been making lately, so I want to replace it with something better. My mom and I were talking about going halves on a stand mixer, but that would create a big problem when I eventually move back out. I genuinely don't care what color I get, but I think if all four are on the shelf, I'd grab the black. Black goes with everything

Do you mean the 6 quart or the commercial one? The commercial one's like $900. I've been wanting one of these for ages and literally got the mailer for the store with the mixer pictured on the back of it right next to my name the same day I filed my taxes I have other things I want to do, but this takes precedence right now, since it's on sale for an excellent price.

I remember We've had that conversation before Minimum wage in Illinois is $8.25/hr. I'm making $8.50 at this new job. I'm also probably going to have to bring one of those folding grocery carts to bring the mixer home with me I might rent a car for the morning, since that would so be worth it to me.

I love my Kitchenaid, it has so many uses.

I don't know yet! I haven't even started training Wednesday was just orientation; paperwork and all that. Training starts tomorrow morning. So we'll see.
