I checked out the GC today when I was in the store. They have tons of DLR park hoppers. If prices go up this summer I'm sure some will be on the shelf.

Lots of other cards too, though so many for chains that are not near me.

I don't know yet! I haven't even started training Wednesday was just orientation; paperwork and all that. Training starts tomorrow morning. So we'll see.

I have two radley purses waiting for me

I'm just hoping this cold snap doesn't get worse in the UK
I'm worried about the roads in the country areas not being as well cleared.
I will have one of the best drivers under the sun driving me (seriously) but it still ain't fun...

Well you guys at least have gift cards, so you know what those are right?

It's very simple really. Do your stores have loyalty programs? Where you get a little card that gets you special offers at the grocery stores, like "50% off all beef roasts with your club card". "Earn free groceries while you shop, get one point for every dollar you spend."

That's the deal that our store offers. The other deal is "get double points for every gift card you purchase". At the end of each quarter (March, June, September, December) They send you a "gift certificate" for the amount of "points" you have racked up. 100 points = $1. I just got mine and Fran's certificates the other day one was for $227 and the other was for $133.

They put a cap on the amount you can earn, $250 so that's why each of us have cards. Since I never spend that much in one trip to the grocery store, they let you put the balance of your gift certificate on a gift card for Ralph's and you can spend it as you like. I figure that I will not actually pay for groceries probably the entire month of February with these certificates.

The only thing is you can't buy alcohol, milk, stamps, etc with the gift certificates, but once you convert them to a gift card, you CAN!

It's the Pro 5-quart mixer. It's normally between $300-350 and is going to be on sale at this store for $220, which is insane and only $40 more than the mixer that's one step down in capacity and performance. The store's not going to have many of them, so I'm planning on getting there before they even open so I can get one. I don't know what color (they apparently will have black, red, silver, and white), and I don't really care, I just want my dang KitchenAid I've wanted one of these for YEARS.

That's a great deal. I've never had a use for one of those, but you go Dana, make some cakes!

Franandaj: we're going May 15 -19th. YC lagoon view club, it's our favorite. I was considering GF main building, but with only 4 nights, I couldn't justify the cost. And I would have missed Storm Along Bay. We're going Tues to Sat. I was looking at Mon - Fri, but Davy Jones is at Epcot Friday. Couldn't miss him!

DisneyFireFly, that cake had me drooling! Good thing I don't live near you; I'd be at your house looking for goodies all the time.

Skiingfast, do you still have snow? Ours all melted early this week. And none in the forecast! My DH is outside washing his car. Temp is about 40. He's a clean car nut.
