Sales bonuses?

I don't think she's working for that kind of company. From what I remember her saying, its a market research firm. Just wondering if there were any bonuses associated with getting people to stay on the phone to complete the survey.

They went in my tummy!

I am back !

Hi! Hope you had a nice, relaxing time! :goodvibes

I'm back on today too! I started physical therapy for my neck today.

Turns out that my tingling, numb thumb and very sore right arm of the past three weeks is due to a large herniation of the C6 disk in my neck. Spine guy, my new doctor, says three more weeks will tell if I need surgery or not!

Oh, and I found out that I cannot bring my shoulder blades back together for some reason and my PT thinks I am a 'slow learner! I think I need to be in the bluebird class for shoulder blade touching! How dumb is that???

Otherwise I will always be last in shoulder blade touching!

Glad they were able to figure out what's wrong. Good luck with the PT. Hope it will be enough & you won't need surgery. :flower3:

And I don't think I could make my shoulder blades touch either.

PIO: Any time I pay a bill & get reimbursed for it later, I put it toward my vacation fund too. That & any lottery scrath off winners are my "found money". Never had enough to pay for the hotel stay tho! :thumbsup2

DisneyFireFly: Congrats on the job!!

Skiingfast: Hope you can sleep this weekend. I have lots of sleepless nights, but mine is the routine "middle aged lady" variety. :rotfl2:

Franandaj: hope you get the place rented quickly. :goodvibes And how are the cats doing?

 How are you?

:wave2: Good! Thanks! Haven't been on much this week. Worked 12 hours on Tues. & Thurs. DH's birthday was Wed, had the kids for dinner & cake. Got our first real snow of the season today so I was out shoveling a few times. I'm not a fan of snow. :snooty:

Has it warmed back up for you yet?

WOO HOO! :woohoo:

Awesome!

That's only about 3 monday nights away. Are you going to resign on Tuesday next week?

How are the cake classes going?

Most likely, since I think that's when I'm going to have the information on when orientation and everything is. I'll have to see, though.

The cake classes are okay so far, but I've only had one. There are three more.

I am so glad you got one. Is it full time?

No, it's still part time, but it's a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours a week, which is more than I'm getting now.

But there are three Mondays left. :confused3

I'll figure it out. The orientation is most likely going to be on a Monday night, so I'm going to have to miss one of them.

Will you be a "regular" emlpoyee, so you recieve benefits?

I believe I'm a regular employee (not sure what you mean by that), but there are no benefits for part time.

More important will they give you a reasonable number of hours?

It's a minimum of 16 hours a week.

And I feel left out if I haven't got a job related question...so....

Will you get any bonuses for getting people to answer the survey?

Doubt it :lmao:

Sales bonuses?

Also doubt it :)

DisneyFireFly: Congrats on the job!!

Thanks! :)

Currently low 60's. :sad2:

Well the sign is going out tomorrow after we tidy the big messes (ie. 17 dead doorknobs on the kitchen counter. Tonight I get to list it on rent.com, Fran will prepare dinner! :lmao:

I uploaded some funny pics of the kids to PB and thought I'd post them here when I got home.

Looking forward to seeing the kids.

I've been working on my PTR....... just posted another *informative* update.

We're having a wet'ish summer. Not as wet as LAST summer; but wet still the same. Great for our water catchments. :thumbsup2

My very small water tank is full again.

The catchments are going great with all the rain. Seems like it is wetter around where they are than in Melbourne. :thumbsup2

So skiboy.....it's now 2012.

DH and I are starting to think about the Sep/Oct 2013 trip. Most of the other lasters are planning on being there.....
It would be fantastic if you could make it too....with your DS. Any chance that you might be thinking about making the 1st week in October?

It's really hard to say. I've never done WDW with far out planning, always based on last minute flight deals. Or at least when flights are cheap from here to there. I'll have to see what the school schedule is, which won't come out for a long time.

How old is your DS?

Some of the other gamers coming are teachers - I think one is at a University/College. We're hooking up with their timetable.

He'll be in upper elementary school. My days in helping at the school may be over then.

I hope you can make it. I'm only asking so that you have plenty of time to save your pennies and quarters. :thumbsup2

Our school timetable is out. It looks like DS will be on holidays from about 20 Sep to the 6th Oct. I was thinking of taking an extra week in October.

That leaves us with about 3 weeks or 18 days to plan for.
