How much do classes cost?

We seem to run around the $300 - $500 mark for about 6 x 2 hor classes?

The class itself is, I think, $30-50. I forget exactly. Then the supply kit is another $35 (but you can use a 40% off coupon to get it) and additional supplies as needed. I think I probably spent about $100-150 on supplies for the first class, but a lot of it were things like a cake leveler (mine was the cheap wire one and snapped, so I bought the better bladed one), a tool caddy, additional tips, things like that.

The first class was $22, which paid for all four sessions (which is why my mom got it for me, because she was surprised at how cheap it was).

Materials are expensive here too. I haven't really invested in a good bag and tips either. I have a few plastic ones but they don't do the job that I'd like them to do.

Man, there's a set that Wilton has that's got a handful of tips, some disposable bags, a couple of couplers, and 3 or 4 tubs of icing coloring. It's about $12, I think. There's another that has more pieces, but I don't remember what all's in it, and is I think about $30. You could always buy one here and take it home with you :)

I might just do that. I haven't priced Wilton tips or bags for a while. Last time I looked at it, the tips ran anywhere from $2 - $20 each.

That's why I like the little kits, to be honest. I bought the $12 one and then my class kit came with a bunch more tips as well. I think I've only bought one tip outside of a kit (the big icing tip). I want to get a couple more #18s, so that I don't have to wash it every time I change star colors.

 Hi Usnuz. I think Alison might be on as well.....wonder how her trip is going with Fran and Arline?

Hope they are having a good time.

I am finally going to the chiro today. At least I am up. My leg is still week, but I am up.

Why'd you have to be all chatty :lmao:

Just ducked on here to say hi and TTFN :teeth:

Need a shower still and finally packing to hold things securely.

Cheap classes indeed Dana....wow...
Hope you get your money soon. Tax office took ages processing my refund last financial year.
