So You Think You Can Dance starts tonight!! Who's with me?

Jason's incredible! I feel bad that he was always stuck with Caitlin and never really had that time to shine and build a fanbase. He's probably the best dancer there. I LOVED his and Jeanine's dance... that was HOT!

Evan and Kayla were good. It did look a little off just because I'm used to the guy being a lot taller than the girl in those kinds of dances, but it was good. I liked bother their solo's too.

I loved Brandon and Melissa! I saw HAir on Broadway a few weeks ago and it was incredible, and their dance would've fit right in. It was fun and lighthearted with lots of cool moves. Loved it.

Janette and Ade were also really good. Janette's my favorite girl and Ade surprised me week after week. His solo was awesome... that jump amazes me every time. He gets SO high!

Randi and Kupono... that was a mess. The whole thing was sloppy and awkward. Plus that wig was hideous... it made Randi look trashy when she's normally a pretty girl. She looked a lot bigger too, and her moves looked heavy. Her solo was also weak, while I liked Kupono's. They'll hopefully both go home tomorrow.

The girls and guys dances were SO much fun! The guys dance was better than the girls, but I loved the diverse styles. And I loved how Evan kept up with the other guys during their dance, when they all towered over him and have more of a natural swagger. He's a cutie. My favorite dancers as of now are Evan, Jason, Brandon and Janette... everyone else can get sent home one by one.

Jason is from the same town as me so he's been a sentimental favorite of mine from the beginning. Tonight he has proven that he can be a favorite based on his dancing skills too. It was an amazing performance.

Boys: I think Kupono is a goner this week. If Phillip had not ended up in the bottom 3 last week, Kupono would have been gone then. Nigel is not a fool! Phillip is a huge draw for the tour; that is why he secured the "producers" would allow to the Top 12 to go on tour. Oh by the way, since Nigel is executive producer and creator, I'm guessing he has a lot to say about the tour! ;):lmao:

Girls: I am over Melissa. I cannot necessarily pinpoint why, but she is definitely not my fave. Based on tonight's performances, I would have to say Randi was the weakest, but I would still love to see Melissa go. I am really hoping that Randi has a fan base (thanks to Evan!) that Melissa doesn't have! :teeth:

Travis' contemporary was my "moment" of this season so far. What an amazing dance! Jeanine and Jason were fantastic. I've already watched it 6 times. :)

Wow, Jason and Jeanine were incredible! I think they have a little something something going on :] That kiss was SEXY!

Kayla and Evan were just O.K. Their waltz didn't wow me.

Kupono and Randi's made me laugh. It was a HOT mess. And what was with the wig? Though it pains me to say it I think they are going home.

Melissa and Brandon, I am over both of them. They are talented yes, but they annoy the CRAP out of me. I hope one of them goes home soon.

Janeatte and Ade really great job. She has been growing on me, and I think she will be going far in her future! :}

So overall I think that Melissa and Kupono will go home tonight.

I thought Kupono was terrible this week. Especially in the African dance. I was watching mainly Evan, Ade, and Kupono...Evan was Evan-- like the judges said he did much better than I expected--I LOVED the part where the boys all flexed anf then he stuck out his tummy! Ade danced that like he was meant to--he showed how it was suuposed to be done, very forcedful and manly...and Kupono? Somehow managed to look like a flowery fairy princess. He kept distracting me from the other dancers.

Did Randi actually pick the wig? I guess they have hair control just not costume? She had a really bad night.

The Bollywood routine was awesome!!

Last night was great....we only didn't vote for Ade, Kupono and two of the girls.

We voted for Kayla because she is a hometown girl, not because she was the strongest or best. My oldest loves Jeanine so she made sure we voted for her....and I loved Melissa's movement last night...and I feel soo bad because I can remember the boys names but I can't remember the girls names ( without a lot of help). :rotfl:

The Broadway dance certainly looked like Twila Tharp could have choreographed it.

I liked the Bollywood dance but LOVED the African dance.....Evan and his "milkshake" moves made me giggle.

I was happy with who went home. I thought Kapouno was certainly the right choice and Randi was going to be this week or next. She is adorable and a great dancer just not enough star power.

I was really wowed by evan's solo this week. I was kind of over him and then remembered why he was so good. Just mainly in his own style though.

What did you think of Wade's opening number? I liked the way he incorporated various styles of dance.

There was definitely somthing going on. I found the way she jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around him very intimate.

When Debbie Allen said to them that she wants them to do that on the tour EVERY show I said to DH if they do that every show then she is going to be pregnant by then end... ;)

Kupono and Randi's paso was awful.

Holy Smokes! What a night! I loved the Bollywood dance but was floored by the African dance that the boys did. It was weird, I thought that I was going to laugh at Even attempting it but I thought that he did alright. I agree that Kupono struggled the most, he just could not exude the power that I wanted to see.

I loved Jason and Jeannine! They not only danced they captivated me right throught the TV screen.

The waltz was a little awkward, I know that Nigel said that Even was a little stiff but gee whiz! He and Kayla are not matched for size so I wonder how much just the stretching and trying to make it natural played into that.

It was clear to me that Randi and Kupono were the weakest dancers. I would have sent Kupono home a while ago and Randi has never been a favorite of mine. The others seem to be floating and flying around the stage, she does not. :confused3

I like Melissa but I think she should go home next if she does not step it up. I love Ballet and understand that the dancers can and should stay in their own genre during the solo, but for Heaven's sake! Her solo is like a video....I've seen it before, I don't want the rerun.

Can I just say that I love Debbie Allen?!?!?!?!?!

Well my eye candy is gone. I thought that Kupono was adorable. It was certainly his time to go, but I'll miss his puppy dog personality.

Did anyone else dislike Ade's solo? They kept on gushing over it and I didn't get it. He seemed to jump about and spin on the floor randomly and then he did some flips. None of it to the music. ok ... He stopped half way and swayed to the music for about 3 seconds. Maybe I am just lacking in my Contemporary dance education, but I did't like it at all!

I would have liked to see Melissa go, but I'm okay with Randi leaving. I just think Melissa doesn't have the range of the other dancers. I suspect they've been keeping her, mostly so she can demonstrate the styles that require her classical training (like the pas de deux). But, every time she dances, it's the same thing! DD14 always defends her, saying how hard it is to go en pointe (she's not there yet, but has friends who are). And I get that, really I do--but it was the same as Phillip. Being wonderful in one style is fine, but that's not what the show is about.

Kupono had long worn out his welcome for me. Just too effeminate. The goofy, I have no problem with--like Evan, he's goofy, but he works with what he's got, and it's entertaining to watch. I thought the Gene Kelly analogy was a good one.

I figure the Travis routine will be nominated for an Emmy next year. It was so well choreographed and danced. There was definitely some chemistry there--kind of like the Big Bang!

Glad Kupono is finally gone. I loved Mark from last year and I felt like they cast Kupono in an effort to find another Mark, he didn't even come close.

I liked Randi and I was sad to see her go.

I'd like to see Janette & Brandon go next, they both come off so phony to me when their dancing, no real genuine emotion, competition faces etc..

My favorites are Jeanine & Jason, they're dance this week was amazing, I wish they could dance together every week.

I was glad to see Kupono and Rando go, they were the weakest ones left. Randi always danced very heavy whereas the other girls were light on their feet. I liked Kupono but he didn't have the abilities of the other guys.

I'm guessing Melissa and Ade will go next. My favorites are still Evan, Brandon, Jason and Jeanette so as long as any of them make it to the end I'll be happy!
