During the begining didnt Mia always say she thought Brandon was overrated and basically didnt like him?? Last night she really complimented him on his dancing and strength ability. Was this the first time she was so positive or had she done it before. (I have missed a few shows)

So I have to say, I didn't "get" the battlefield dance and I don't understand the raves about it. They were off. They weren't in sync. I wasn't floored and I was shocked when the judges started raving.

On the whole, I wasn't impressed with last night. Melissa & Ade were good, but when you give dancers a routine like that, they should be. Plus they've had weeks to get the chemistry down between one another.

I love Evan, but I fear he's going home. It wouldn't shock me to see Janine go home. I also can't stand Jason, but he was probably my favorite last night...I loved the Zombie routine.

Melissa and Ade's dance last night was gorgeous. I really loved it, and I agree that none of the other dancers would've been able to pull it off emotionally. I also get a "mean girls' vibe from Kayla and the other girls are more immature, so Melissa was perfect for that routine. I've liked her from the beginning and hope she and Ade both make it through.

I'm not a big fan of Jeanine but I liked the hip hop routine with Brandon. I thought Brandon was a lot better than her, but she was able to keep up. I wouldn't mind her leaving but don't think she will.

Janette's definitely my favorite girl and has been my fav from the beginning. That girl can literally do anything! I like how she changed up her solo too, and showed that she could do something besides her speciality. She's awesome and I'd love to see her win. Top two for me are Janette and Brandon... they've mastered everything that's been thrown at them.

I love Evan and think he's such a cutie, but he's the weakest guy left. He hasn't wowed me since the first few weeks of the top 20. He's been off lately, and was horrendous during the opening number. He missed a lot of steps and just looked lost. I'm a huge Broadway fan (I'm going to see Next To Normal tonight!) and would love to see him in a show, but he's not very good at everything else. That being said, he has a gigantic fanbase and will probably make it to the end.

I have a feeling Kayla's going home tonight. She's technically good but doesn't have much personality and I always forget about her. She's been in the bottom a lot, and after Jeanine and Melissa had great second routines, I think she'll be gone. As for the guys, it should be Evan but it might be Ade. I think Jason's star has risen these past few weeks and Brandon's been a favorite from the beginning, plus Melissa really carried their routine, so he may be going home.

I can't wait to rewatch some of my favorite dances from the past few seasons tonight!

I like Melissa but I think she should go home next if she does not step it up. I love Ballet and understand that the dancers can and should stay in their own genre during the solo, but for Heaven's sake! Her solo is like a video....I've seen it before, I don't want the rerun.

I would have liked to see Melissa go, but I'm okay with Randi leaving. I just think Melissa doesn't have the range of the other dancers. I suspect they've been keeping her, mostly so she can demonstrate the styles that require her classical training (like the pas de deux). But, every time she dances, it's the same thing! DD14 always defends her, saying how hard it is to go en pointe (she's not there yet, but has friends who are). And I get that, really I do--but it was the same as Phillip. Being wonderful in one style is fine, but that's not what the show is about.

Girls: I am over Melissa. I cannot necessarily pinpoint why, but she is definitely not my fave. Based on tonight's performances, I would have to say Randi was the weakest, but I would still love to see Melissa go. I am really hoping that Randi has a fan base (thanks to Evan!) that Melissa doesn't have!

Melissa and Brandon, I am over both of them. They are talented yes, but they annoy the CRAP out of me. I hope one of them goes home soon.

Janeatte and Ade really great job. She has been growing on me, and I think she will be going far in her future! :}

So overall I think that Melissa and Kupono will go home tonight.

FINALLY, some people who share my opinion on Melissa!!! My boyfriend thinks that I'm jealous of her because I'm always ragging on her when he and I are watching the show together, but I cannot stand the woman!!! The whole "naughty ballerina" thing didn't sit well with me from the very beginning; it's like she was trying way too hard to make sure that people would remember her. As for her dancing...I too noticed that her solos are practically EXACTLY the same every week. Even when she does other dances, she seems to incorporate ballet into them somehow. I agree that she doesn't seem to have the range required of the winner of the show; hopefully she'll be gone tonight.

Oh, one more thing...that dance that she and Ade did last night. What bothered me was that people were reacting to the subject and not concentrating on the dance itself. Don't get me wrong; I thought it was ok, just not "WOW!" like a lot of the other ones. I really didn't see anything overly special about it. The way everyone was crying and going on, you'd have thought that Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire had come back from the dead for one last performance!

Got to go...the 100th episode has just started!!!

This WAS my favorite show, can't watch any longer. Jeanette was by far the best dancer on the show, America got this so wrong!! And Brandon in the bottom two and not Evan?????? WRONG!!!!!

1. Katie Holmes dancing was blah. I was expecting her to dance on the SYTYCD stage!
2. LOVED the routines from previous seasons, although I wish they did the Adam and Eve dance instead of the Hummingbird and Flower.
3. COMPLETELY disappointed in the decision.
4. If Evan and Melissa make it to the Finale, I will not watch it.

The 2 that went home tonight should not have gone tonight. If Melissa and Evan (or even Ade) had gone tonight, next week would be difficult to narrow down to the Top4, however I would have less of a problem with Jason and Janette leaving next week than tonight.

I would really like to see Jeannine as the top girl, and Brandon as the top guy..either could win.. I think both are great.

I am NOT a happy camper tonight. Janette did not deserve to go home...I COMPLETELY agree with the statement that the show picks "America's Favorite Dancer" and not "America's Best Dancer". What a crock (sorry, I'm mad!).

I told my boyfriend...if Melissa wins this, I refuse to watch one more season of SYTYCD. At least here in Canada we have our own version, which is very good and well-received!

yeah not happy either. I loved Jeanette. Tyce and the breast cancer routine saved Melissa because she SHOULD have gone. I would have actually been ok with Kayla too. I don't think she is all that.

I'm ok with Jason going. Looking at the solos, Brandon is clearly in another league. Jason fell out of turn and jumps all over the stage.

I wish they would have pointed out Joshua and Mark in the (boring) Katie Holmes number. Could she lip sync any worse?

I would have also liked to hear a 'where are they now' from the alumni that danced and focused more on those who were there. They stretch those episodes all the time. They actually HAD 2 hours worth of material this week and stuck to an hour.

I'm annoyed about Jeanette. She should have won. Now I guess I'll root for Jeannine. Brandon is the best of the guys left. I didn't connect with any of them this year.

Does anyone wonder if the 'routines' are figured out with a strategy from the show sometimes? I mean Melissa was probably one of the ones possibly going home soon. Maybe the show didnt want her to go so made sure to get her one of those emotional dances..I dont know..whenever someone gets a routine like that they are pretty much automatically safe even if they are not the greatest..

I just dont like her..I am very upset that Jeanette left. She was the best female dancer left in my opinion and I am also not happy about Jason. He really has come a long way..Evan is from my area in Michigan and that is great but I wouldnt vote for him because of that...he can do his own style very well but struggles with the rest. I dont get him not even being in the bottom 2

I was hoping for some Dimetri tonight. I know, I know...but I for some reason fell in love with him and his style of dance.

While I liked the breast cancer dance, I cannot stand Melissa. Please let her go home next week. Please. I'ven said that for weeks now...

Oh and when Mia said that Janine was her favorite, my 15yo dd said, "that's the kiss of death." I think she must have been right. Everyone that Mia made very positive comments on were in trouble.

Do a lot of people not like Mia? My DH does not care for her but I like her. Just wondering.

I was hoping Janette would win! She was amazing from the beginning and mastered every style thrown her way. That was weird. I don't hate Melissa though and don't get all the hate for her. I think she's a gorgeous dancer and of the three girls left, she's my favorite. I like all the guys too. Brandon's always been the best and Ade's really strong. Evan probably shouldn't be there but every week I find myself looking forward to seeing him the most. He has a ton of fans so I have a feeling he may win.

What I LOVE about this show is that there's never anyone I hate. On every season of American Idol there are people I can't stand and I always say I won't watch the finale if they're in it. That never happens with this show for me. They're all incredibly talented and fun to watch, and I love the routines, music and judges comments almost as much as the dancers themselves. I don't care who's in the finale... they're all capable of doing things I can't even imagine being able to do, they're nice people and I wish them all well. I hate that this season ends so soon but I'm already psyched for the next one!

I did not get it either but then I never understood how Phillip lasted so long either. All that "you are special" stuff saved Evan I'm afraid.

At this point in the competition I really liked most of the remaining dancers so I tend to be sad to see any on them go.

Me too, I think she is my favorite female dancer. I like Kayla a lot but I think that she is going next.

I love Jason but my favorite dancers of those remaining are Ade and Brandon. The Tyce routine saved Melissa, I think she really put a lot into the dance and her performance, along with Ade's, drew the emotion that we all felt. I am not sorry that she managed to stay, every week it all comes down to the evening's dance performances so if she made it work The fact that Evan survived , I don't get it. Nothing that the judges said could make me believe that his performances matched any other on that stage.

Ade and Melissa's first dance was pretty horrid so the results may have been different w/o the emotional dance.
I think Evan remains because people like him so much. He's been an underdog from the beginning with his lack of height and all that. However, I adore him (but don't vote for him) and love his personal style. It is my favorite type of music to hear and so to see him dance to it makes me very happy.
Season 6, we'll have his brother to go through this same type thing if he makes the top 20.
