So... you get to go to WDW by yourself. Now what?

Hi!

I have been posting on the solo board, but since this board moves a heck of a lot faster (lol), I will ask some questions here.

First, I am taking a well earned sebatical. As a SAHM to three kids 6 and under, with a travelling husband eek: ) I feel I DO deserve this! So... On Friday, Nov. 29th at 7:55am, I take off to Disney by myself! I will be staying at POR (first time) until checkout on the 4th of December. 5 quiet nights.

So... my question is this... what would you do that you wouldn't do with kids? I am:

Going to MVMCP on Dec 1st.
Taking the Keys to the Kingdom Tour on Saturday at 8:30am.
Trying to get into the standby line for CP on Friday night rolleyes: ).

I also want to check out the GF and walk to the POLY and maybe rent a water mouse just for fun! I am also thinking about a massage at the GF...

Any other ideas? Dreams?

Well, it seems you're leaving just as DIS CON begins, so you're bound to run into some of us, as many are arriving in those days beforehand. Why not take a look at the DIS CON board and see what's going on during the time you will be there, maybe you'd like to meet up and join in with some of us. Lots will be solo's as well

This is one thing I would do. I would pick a good book, take a glass of wine and read and drink my wine in a nice hot bath! No one knocking on the door to talk to me, or hearing the kids fighting, now that's what I call heaven! Congratulations!

I would leisurely stroll around the World Showcase going into each shop without hearing "This is boring".
