social services have phoned me, i have listed all my major concerns regarding charlie and made it clear that he isnt interested in the baby and will harm him.the outcome is its been marked as urgent and social worker will be on the case. this morning they asked me if it came to it would i have charlie, obviously - yes.

I dont know his address, i have the phone number and i have been trying to find the address to match it on the internet with no success.


i have am waiting for social services to ring me back, i have rang and voiced my concerns that she has gone back into an extremely violent relationship with the baby, i dont know what else i can do.
the data protection act gets in the way-as they can only tell me certain things

So sorry to hear this Jeanette. Have been through a similar situation with my step son and it is heartbreaking. Keep onto social services and make sure the case worker keeps you updated, it looks as though they are doing there job well so far so fingers crossed

We have found the police more helpful than social services in the past but you have notified both so you have done all you can do. I hope you hear some promising news soon and your daughter and Charlie come home safely xxx

Goodness me Netty, I haven't been on all day and can't believe what I've just read.
I'm so pleased Steph and Charlie were found but it sounds like the worry isn't over I'm glad you got to voice your concerns for their safety with Social Services. It sounds like all the correct agencies are on the case and are taking action. I'm sure she will see sense and start her new life in her new home with Charlie before you know it.
