Serious debate here. We were discussing Charlie Brown getting rocks in his TOT bag in the classic, "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown".
Ok I think they give him rocks because his costume is awful. My mother disagrees.
So what do you think???

Because he's Charlie Brown. He always gets the short end of the stick....:D

I agree. It's just because he's the Charlie Brown-iest.

That is my most quoted Charlie Brownism -- "I got a rock!" Says it so well sometimes.

Yep, because he is mediocore Charlie Brown.

Poor thing, I always felt so sorry for him, I literally cringed watching that movie as a kid.

Yes, Judi, but Snoopy gave a tour-de-force performance in that cartoon.

His night ride to fight the Red Baron is one of my favorite cartoon scenes. :D

So true, JJ. Its the defining moment of the movie, no doubt.

But then Snoopy does tend to take center stage quite often, doesn't he? :)

Me too Snoopy, makes me sad to think about a little one getting a rock, even if it is a cartoon. I'm such a sap.

Yes aahmom and that is what spurred this question. As 6yodd was watching it last night she just felt so awful for poor Charlie. I do too. Well I guess that is the point of it I suppose.
My mom said CB should have thrown the rock thru the window.
