So who's going the last week of August?

We'll be staying off site for a few days and then and will be checking into BWV the last week of August. Just wondering when everyone else will be there. We're thinking that the last week won't be too busy-school doesn't start here til after labor day, so we figured it would work out good. Anyone else doing the same?

We'll be at OKW Aug 25 - Sept 1.

This is our first Aug trip as we usually do mid/late Sept but you know how it is... kids getting older... already pulling them out 2 other times...

Hopefully it won't be as bad as I am afraid it will be.

We've been the last week of August a couple of times and it's actually a pretty good time to go. It's still very hot, but the crowds are much more manageable than earlier in the summer. I think most schools in the south are back in session then.

That's what we're hoping for, Can deal w/the heat as long as it's not jam packed w/people . We'll be there 8/26-8/31. By the way, Hi neighbor-we're here in Maine too!

Well, hello neighbor! We leave tomorrow for the BWV. I know it's not the warmest down there, but it sure beats what we've been having around here!

The last time we went the last week in August we drove straight through, over 26 hours each way! I don't think we'll be doing that again! I like that time of year if we're not going to take the kids out of school. The hours are still long and it's great pool and water park weather. When we went as soon as school got out, around June 15, the parks were packed! The crowds are much better late August.
