So who is scrapping with me this week-end???

anyone want to pick a sketch??

my DH is going to go to a friends house to watch the supper bowl - not sure when he is leaving since he works Sat but I should be home all week-end with nothing but boys & laundry

so who is going to hang out with me??

I may stop in and out but we have a lot going on this weekend. I will be going out tomorrow morning to spend the $5 off $5 coupon from Michael's and pick up grape juice for Sunday's communion service. We also have to attend a fundraiser for a member of the community with brain cancer. I hope to get to work on a number of things on my scrapping list though before my list gets overwhelming and I just want to give it up.

We have a christening tomorrow, knowing DH we should be home late afternoon. I was was planing to finish MK swap tonight, but I am lying in bed with the laptop and heating pad. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better and be able to finish it up. I will be scrappin on Sunday till game time. Tradition here is we all watch the game together. First time DS won't be here, which makes me a little weepy, but can't let him know as he is having a hard enough time. If I can use the sketch with the pictures I have I will try. Love the last one Reddy picked, thinking of trying that one too.

I'll be around later. this am I'm having breakfast with a friend from another job (we both are no longer in THAT lovely office) E's off to a ice fishing derby with Tom and L is being a teenager and still crashed in bed. I'm letting him stay there too since its something he never does.

my project for this pm is vinyl letters for the sugarhouse buildings that are off property. I need to put the name and I'mnot sure what else. can't decide on a font and totally out of my element with this one. I usually use my cricut for the images. No computer linkup for my untech brain. so that is my battle.

I am hoping to get some stuff done today!! I have a long to do list first though, so I have to get started. I liked it when you picked a sketch Reddy All the ones above looked fine. DD2 has a basketball game but DH and my mom are going to the game today. I hate to miss the game but maybe I will get a little scrappy time while I stay home with DS and DD1 (Who doesn't feel good)

I'll be around. I'm working on Rachel's family recipe book (it was a Christmas present...it's not even started yet ) I'll be using the scrapbooks etc pg 24 sketch--it's perfect!!! I'll be altering it for an 8x8 book so the photo space will be 3x5. Thanks for finding me the perfect sketch for this book

Well, I'm still working on letters at this moment - I seem to have the mats that don't want to hold the paper problem today
I have groups 1-6 done
group 9 & 19 also done
group 7 half done
groups 11, 13, & 15 cut out - still need to think how to decorate them
group 12 - haven't even pulled paper for yet

I'm back.

long breakfast not really did a J's stop and then had to run a loop for Tom (tractor drop off then a him drop off) then to mom's to figure out what's up with the acct program for the friends group still don't know.
Tom's finishing the 3rd building and agreed on a font Caligraphy with the shadow to make it thicker. I'm cutting on paper first still haven't figured out a letter size i'm thinkin 4.5" so I'm headed to the other corner of my room to attempt it.

I am working on my animal kingdom book. Have am currently working on Camp Minnie-Mickey area. I used the cartridges for most of the character greetings. I just sorted out the colors for Rafiki. I think that will be the next set of photos I work on after completing the Lion King section. I think we took too many photos. LOL

I'm gutting the boys room and building new furniture!! Just taking a break for lunch.
I am however taking pics for 365/2012.

I really need to paint but I just don't have the patience for that this weekend. It will probably have to wait for summer.

I hope to maybe scrap tomorrow, it depends on how far I get in the boys room today.

today, I prepped and got our taxes ready for DH's review....
We have to leave for DS15's game (3 left after today) it's an hour away I hate eating out but the game starts at 6 & 730pm
Tomorrow I will scrap as I have DD and DS11 in the room keeping them locked onto their projects due this week.. DS11 will take about 2 hours to finish... DD's will be a day project she has to travel around the world w/ 10K and has criteria she has to meet at each location.. so we will be doing it in scrapbook style (maybe even a smash book would be a better idea)..... her econ teacher is a good family friend so he knows DD will go all out as she has on all of his projects this year!

I need to buckle down... I only have 3 months til my deadline!!!!!

I have 2 letter groups drying with glitter - I'm not used to glitter, boys & glitter don't happen often
one set to glue together then post pics
then I'll start on a LO

Seems like everyone is getting a lot done! Me not so much...my scanner is not scanning the pics I need for Rachel's book So I'm in the process of categorizing recipes and cutting paper to 8x8.

Need an opinion--would you categorize by type of recipe ie:cookies, brownies, cakes, etc OR by the grandmother that the recipes came from?
