So who is going to sign up for the WDW Star Wars Galactic Cruiser experience for next year?***Commercial, post #40***

Not me...SW doesn't do much for me. I get that it is a immersive experience, and I'm sure for those who are into it it will be amazing. I just can't summon the interest personally.

Interestingly enough...we were talking about this amongst ourselves. I wonder if a similar priced/themed/length immersive Harry Potter experience would be as popular?

HP has a bigger following than SW. I love both franchises but saving for grad school is more important to me than an immersive experience. :confused3

I really think they overpriced this. There is a small contingent of "I'll pay anything" people that will make it sell out for the first several months. After that, how many people are really willing to pay $6000 for a family of four for TWO NIGHTS?!? Wouldn't you rather pay that much for a 7 night cruise? I predict deep discounts after the first year or so.

I don't give a rat's rear about SW but if I had the money (and it was offered), I'd do a HP experience in a heartbeat.

I will not either though I would like to see it.
I wonder whether it will be sustainable at those costs, in the long run or at all.
Is it a one and done experience? I guess we shall see.
Keep magic in your life everyone. :tink:

Is that not a close price to some upscale DVC rooms?

But ironically, I believe it will sellout day one.

You may be right but I'm not one of them. I could afford it but I cannot justify the price. Definitely only for the VHNW (very high net worth) and they know it. I'm still waiting for what they are going to charge for the fast passes.

And its been so long since being there, what does HP stand for everyone is referring to? Sorry if its obvious.
