So, who else would like to see a GFV or PV

Well, I have the answer I was waiting for, ppl REALLY would like a GF or Poly DVC!!!

Now, my question is why? If you look for a MK, monorail DVC, it is already BLT, so what would we also want a Poly or a GF?

I have my own answer, but I would like to read the answer of you.

I am simply in love with the Grand Floridian. It just has that Disney magic for me. I have never had any desire to stay at the Contemporary. It just doesn't move me, so BLT would be settling when what I really want is GFV. The GF is like the castle of WDW resorts to me. I just melt the moment I see it. My family loves the GF too!

Yes, I know that could be only a dream. But maybe in a (long, ......I know) future we could see those DVC resorts (at GF and Poly).

until BLT sells out - forget another monrail resort.

with Poly it will years and I mean years. with the rehab that they did on the old building - that cost a fortune. they tore out all the inside and completely rebuild them. to get rid of the mold and mildew problem. Was hoping then that one of the building might be a DVC - but no.

so don't expect these to be a DVC resort anytime in the near future.

with GF depends upon how much competition the new 4 season resort will be.

waited 15 years for a dvc monrail - as much as would love Polyn too - can't see it happening for at least 10 years. (hey use to say 15 years)

Put me down for GFV. I would take a look at Poly, but not my first choice. BLT doesn't do it for me.

I did a quick tour of the GF this past summer and knew that it was where I wanted to be. I also loved BCV as well and plan to add on there next year.

Ok, I know I am in the definite minority, but I would not want to see WDW turn out like a Las Vegas. While I know expansion is necessary, if it builds up too quickly and takes up too much of the open land, I feel it would cheapen it, not to mention, make it more crowded than it already is. Also, DVC being the best kept secret, if they keep adding and adding, will it be the same? That`s just my opinion. I actually wish they didn`t exchange Interval International with RCI. Almost impossible to get where you want to go. Gonna stick with the DVC resorts for sure.

Count me in!! I'd be thrilled with either one! We loved the Poly- I think Poly would be really, really fun, and there could be a lot more done with the theming that could make it really fantastic, but I think having some villas at the GF makes a lot of sense- it's the flagship. We really would love to stay there, but I hate the idea of us all crowding in the room for that price!

We would most definitely add on if they announced this!

No a GFV or PV wouldn't have anymore appeal to me than BLT does. I'll stay right where I am at OKW and AKV.

We would add on at either a Poly or a GF DVC, probably whichever was built first. We would prefer a GF DVC, however, since the GF is our favorite resort. BLT just feels too much like a traditional hotel room, not a vacation resort to us. We may eventually add on points there for the location if we can't ever book there at the 7 month mark when we want to go, but it doesn't appeal to me the way the Poly or the GF. I also really wish they had had a Club level option for BLT, and was extremely disappointed that they chose not to. That probably would have pushed us over the edge into purchasing, despite our non-love of the decor. I really hope they will have Club level rooms available for the Poly and the GF when they do build.

And, yes, I do think they will eventually build both. They really have to have an DVC option to directly sell to the public at WDW. Right now they have BLT, AKV, and SSR points available, so they aren't in need of another WDW DVC resort. Once the new SSR points and either BLT or AKV are gone (or the inventories on both are very low), they will almost certainly have to start work on a new DVC resort. I just can't see them having no new sales available at WDW. I don't think availability in Hawaii or California has any relation to this equation - WDW is the main selling point for DVC, so they will always have something available.

I would love to see DVC add PV! We loved the Polynesian when we stayed there. Loved the location, atmosphere, everything.
