So, who battled the crowds to see Transformers today?

I forgot to preorder tickets so I guess we're gonna wait a few days since DH works 4-12 the next two days and might be ticked if we saw it without him

I"m living vicariously through others now folks..... who loved it?

I think we are going to go on Friday. So far the reviews are terrible..but then I usually really like the movies with bad reviews

I generally tend to go against the grain with the reviewers also, so I expect we'll see it by the time the weekend is over.

We just got home, and we really enjoyed it. DH went earlier today and bought our tickets and then we showed up about 40 minutes before it started, to get in line. Once inside the theater I was surprised how many seats were open, but it was still early. By the time the movie started it was almost full.

If you liked the first one, I think you will like this one.

Glad to hear those that have seen it liked it. The one review I read was Variety and he actually liked it for the most part. I don't pay a lot of attention to the reviews anyway.

We are going to see it this afternoon.

We are going tomorrow to see it in IMAX. I'd rather get my nails done . . . the things I do for my kids . . .

I saw it last night. It wasn't as bad as the reviews stated but it really could have been better. It seemed like different parts of the move were rehashed movies with transforming robots thrown in.

Those of you seeing it today, see if you can spot the parts that could have just been named:

Transformers: American Pie
Transformers and the Last Crusade
Transformers: Independence Day
Transformers: Star Gate
Transformers: 300

I liked the first one but this one needed a little more time dedicated to the storyline and less to just blowing stuff up.

Saw it yesterday - I was really surprised at how full the theatre was for a 3:15 showing! DS12 and I liked it. I read a really bad review before I went but I too tend to like movies that get bad reviews. Guess I have poor taste!
