So When Can We Book F&W Classic?

Yes you can still attend the event if you aren't staying at the Swan/Dolphin. It was great last year.

ok, here's the scoop.... They had an internal meeting yesterday and were briefed on the event. I am waiting for the info to trickle down to me.... I called this morning and bugged them about it. I have my list of clients waiting, waiting, waiting...... they know we are waiting on them. As soon as the info is in my hands, I will be sending out the info so everyone can decide what they want.

Thanks again,

T.

Thanks for the update and for staying on top of the issue.

Lookng forward to the event!

Hope I'm on your list, Teresa...... we're so eager to try this for our first time!

I think as long as we noted in on the reservation...right Teresa?

Oh and Kathy...just noticed your new tag
ABD trips = clothes optional

hahaha:rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:

T, I sent you an e-mail to get on your list of people to notify...unless the package price rises dramatically, we really want to do this. :goodvibes

I just got off the phone with the Swan Dolphin...... Don't shoot the messenger.......... "Their system is still not ready to book, therefore, they cannot give me the info" this is direct quote.I am getting very frustrated and I know you all are too. I am now being told in one week we will have the info. I am trying to look on the bright side.. last year it was August when we started booking this event.. so we are way ahead this year....... does that make anyone feel better?
I promise to keep you all informed... Anything I find out I will let you know.

T.:)

I feel good just knowing you are on top of it for us!! :goodvibes

Whenever they feel like releasing the info is fine with me. We have our reservation and I know you will be at the head of the line to convert everyone's ressies to the package once it is released.

Thanks T :thumbsup2

I asked on the restaurant board but people didn't even seem to know that you could buy tickets instead of a wristband... I'll ask it again here - you folks seems knowledgeable ;D

I don't drink and fill up quickly so I was thinking tickets might be the best way to go for me. I'll be staying at the Swolphin during this time and was wondering if I could buy tickets Friday and use them on both Fri and Sat night if I don't use them all on Fri?
Also, any idea how many tickets were required for the different items?
Thanks!

I saw your post on that forum but wasn't 100% sure of the answer. I purchased a seminar that included the all-inclusive wristband, so I didn't personally experience the tickets. But, as I was walking the event, I did see the area which people did buy the tickets. I didn't want to assume that the tickets were good for both days, but logic tells me they should be.

I'm sure you can call the Swan/Dolphin and ask to speak to someone in Special Events or the Food and Beverage manager. They were very involved in last year's event and would probably be the best source for your answer.

I don't recall how many tickets were needed for each food item, but I'm certain the steaks took a lot more tickets than the smaller bites items.

OK, I've got a call in to the Asst director of food and beverage service, and I left a detailed message.... I'll follow up here with the results of our conversation.

Today, I spoke with Tony in Food and Beverage services... their current, tenative plans are to have 18 beverage stations, and 9 food stations. There will be a package available for those staying at the Swolphin, or, if you're like me and not staying there, they plan on having a website available to purchase the all-access tickets. $65 is the cost for the tickets, and he said that they hoped to have the website up and running on or about 1 June.

He also said that the wine blending class was gonna be the bomb diggity! Of course, he's teaching it....lol.

This info is slowly being released. I Have my list of clients who have booked thru Dreams. As soon as the package info is released I will let my Them know. It will also be on our website and on this thread. this could happen after I leave next Tuesday and before I get back on the 6/9. If it does, do not fear, I will be checking every night and staying on top of this while I am away.

That sounds like the price went up from $50 to $65 for the unlimited package, but the question posed by 4orm still remains unanswered about buying a la carte tickets on Friday and being able to use them on both Friday and Saturday.

Have a great time Teresa! We actually looked at the last minute prices, for a Mediterranean Cruise - not too bad! Something for us to think of for a future date. Can't wait to hear your trip report.
