Good Morning DISers,
So let's hear it. What is your all time favorite resort to stay in st Disney? Don't forget to tell us why! Have a great day!

It is impossible to choose just one. I have a three way tie between the poly, GF and the CR.

All three are MK resorts, my fav theme park
The rooms in these three are the largest and most comfortable on property (except Swan/Dolphin beds)
Watching Wishes from your resort, so magical!
All three are connected by the monorail so staying at any one, you still have easy access to the other two
The dining at all three is phenomenal! We eat at all three, regardless of which one we are staying in
Each one provides its own unique magical experiences that will take your breath away!

We love Beach Club! We love the pool, the proximity to Epcot and DHS, and we love the Boardwalk access as well. We consider it our home away from home.

A close second would be POR. We stayed there a couple of years ago and got upgraded to a Royal Room. Loved the room and the fireworks effects as well! The grounds are beautiful, and it's close enough to walk to POFQ to get some yummy beignets.

As far as values go, POP is our favorite. We've been taking our kids to Disney for a few years now, and this was the resort of choice when they were younger. They loved the different pools, the food court, and it was fun to walk around and check out all of the details in the resort.

Yacht Club.

I love the walk to both Epcot and HS since they are my favorite parks. I like the adult feel to it and love sitting out on a balcony early morning and just hearing nothing. The Swan is inching up there close though, the rooms are a bit too just business hotel to make it my favorite though. I do like it's location, the rooms are large and comfortable and the staff very friendly. I like the fact that they have a lap pool with a hot tub as well as a big pool. If they added full sized balconies like YC, I could see, even with the business type rooms, it soon becoming my favorite.

We have loved all of the resorts we've stayed at, but the Poly is our favorite for the following reasons:

- large, spacious rooms with all rooms having a daybed
- great pool that backs up to the beach with a distant view of the castle (can watch Wishes while swimming)
- great dining, with a variety of options a quick monorail ride away at the GF & CR
- Captain Cooks is great for quick CS meals/snacks
- beautiful tropical atmosphere
- 2 monorail stops from MK (3 coming back)
- 5-7 minute walk to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail

With that said, I agree with Babsy about the GF as well (we haven't stayed at the CR). The Poly is our favorite overall, but the GF runs a very close second as we love staying on the monorail and being close to MK.

Yes, I guess if I were forced to choose just one, it would have to be the Poly as well. There is something truly special about the atmosphere. It is relaxing, romantic, special and yet casual. It is comfortable and just 'fits' perfectly.

These are my reasons why, too:

POR - The prices are much more in line with my lifestyle than a Deluxe. We love the hotel grounds and the selections at the food court work fine for me. Also love the quiet pools and the boat to DS. We always stay in the Alligator Bayou section and love walking around the area. It is always so quiet and anytime of year we have felt like we were not in the midst of any crowds. Can park the car close to the room for free!

It feels so much like home!

Of the resorts I've stayed at, which is all of the values and moderates - My absolute favorite and consider my "home resort" is POR! I just love it there. My favorite rooms are the royal rooms, the grounds are just beautiful, the resort is in a great location, we love the boats to Disney Springs, great pools and it is home to our favorite food court.

We have visited all of the resorts and I have 2 that I always dreamed of staying at - Polynesian and Beach Club (my dream is finally coming true this year, staying at BC!)

This year we are staying at BC. It will be my first deluxe stay, so we are really excited. Hoping it will be a new favorite for us! The proximity to Epcot/DHS and Stormalong Bay were the main reasons why we booked it. I cannot wait to walk to Epcot whenever I feel like it!

We have stayed at AKL, Poly, AoA, and CBR

Probably AKL...which is sad because it is kind of out of range for us as a family of 5 now. It was the only place where I felt transported somewhere else. I would like staying there even if it was not part of Disneyworld
[I thought it would be Poly...Poly has a great balance of ease of transportation, Disney magic (seeing the castle) and theme...but I'm just not transported somewhere else because it is so Disney. We've been there done that, and now I would rather try other things.]

As someone with little kids, I actually really loved AoA as well. It is so much Disney fun with little kids! Love the space available in the suites for the relative cost and the icons just scream Disney. When we went with my 2 year old twins...they thought the hotel WAS Disneyworld (and probably would have been happy just staying there). I felt the service was also good...we were not treated differently staying there or staying deluxe.

We have stayed at BC, YC, AKL and WL. BC is our favorite-in 16 trips we have stayed there 9 times. The whole relaxed ambiance, the views, the proximity to Epcot, the décor and the Stone Harbor Club are all of the things that keep reeling us back in.

I have stayed at Dolphin, BC/YC, BWV, OKW, CBR, POFQ, and Saratoga Springs. I would have to say my absolute favorite is BC; staying there aging in November. I love the pool area, the fact that you can walk to Epcot and DHS, the atmosphere sitting out on the balcony (I really like the rooms that back up to the woods, if you are lucky you can see some of illuminations). It reminds me of home a lot since it has the New England beach feel.

I would say a close second is OKW. It is just so Florida and I love it! Plus the rooms are really nice!

Of the resorts we've stayed at my favorite is Beach Club.

I would love stay at Contemporary hough. From visiting or staying at all the resorts except the All Star values, I do think the Contemporary with the monorail running through would be my personal favorite.

My *all time* favorite is the Beach Club, however with young kids my current favorite is Bay Lake Tower. I love the restaurants at the Contemporary, love being on the monorail, and LOVE LOVE being in walking distance to the MK.

We have stayed at the Poly, VWL, GF, Boardwalk, YC, AKL, Kidani, CBR, POR and the two above vie for a spot every trip!

For me my DVC home resort is BLT and it is also the resort I would call my home resort. I love the location and all it has to offer there. My favorite part is watching Wishes from the top of the world lounge after spending the day in the parks.

Coronado Springs. Pool, busing, layout, scenery, and dining options are why we love it.
