So whats the story behind your Dis name?

Mines not to orginal.....my name is Cheri, and I'm "n" VA

If you are over fifty, and a life long Disney fan, you should be able to figure it out.

I'm far from 50, but I know! ;)

As for mine...my favorite cartoon as a kid was Scooby Doo. Even in the early days of Internet usernames, "Scooby" was usually taken. I modified it to phonetically match as "Scubee".

Not much thought into mine. It is my first name, birthday, and last initial. I have a few different names I use for user names on websites so I wont forget!

Hey, Tara--that's MY birthday, too. Yay for us!

My username is from my fav stamping website--I love cardmaking & paper crafting. In between planning for Disney trips and reading the DISboards, of course! ;)

I am saved by the blood of Christ.

:thumbsup2

I bought myself a Harley and went to join a Harley message board. (can't remember which one). The board asked me If I wanted it to generate a screen name. (must be a very smart board )
Anyway, I said yes and Restul Urchin was what came up. I kept it. I don't really know what it means though...:confused3 I use it for other boards now too.
Oh well...:rotfl:

I am a Chemical Engineer. All my chemical engineering classes in college were designated 'CHEE' such as CHEE 101, etc. And I'm a girl :thumbsup2.

My name came from the ride Horizons, which used to be in the spot where Mission: Space is now. (For those who don't know, Horizons was a ride in Epcot that kind of pulled together all the themes Future World. It was supposed to take you into the 21st Century to show how advancements in each area made life fun. It featured the same family from Carousel of Progress.)

<--My avatar is a poster advertising the ride, which says "Take the Trip You've Always Dreamed Of." When I joined the DISBoards I was planning my "dream trip" to Disney. Since it was my first trip without my family, I was going to do some things I'd always wanted to do.

Before Horizons became "Horizons," the project was known as Century3 because America had just headed into its third century. There were references to that name in the ride, and I liked it even as a kid.

I'm a WDW history buff, so I think it suits me. :goodvibes

Mine is my husband's initials and my initials put together.

I also have it on my license plates. On more than one occasion while sitting at a stop light, I've looked in my rear view mirror and seen the person behind me mouthing "WHAMMA" while they try to figure out what my plate means. I wonder if they think I'm going to "whamma" into them!

DH and I are beekeepers:hug:

It's also the name of my soap business on another website that allows people to sell things. (hint hint) Hopefully I'm allowed to say that ;)

Can I just say how much I love the Dis - these forums have saved us from being one of those families that comes back and says "we'll never go again. it was just an overpriced amusement park..." Thanks everyone for all your help!

My name is Melissa but my family calls me Missy, and when I signed up for the dis 3 years ago I was 29, Im not very creative.

Isn't it obvious?!? I've loved all of the Aristocats, especially Marie, since I first saw them on the big screen when I was young.
