So what's the consensus on the new 7 dwarfs attraction?

So what do you think? I've asked him to hold judgement until he sees it in person. Given the info I've shared, especially for those who've ridden it but aren't really coaster people, should I just give up and accept it? Is it really tame, and I should continue to try and talk him into it? I'm not one to force a ride on anyone, it's his vacation after all. I just hate to see him skip something he might really enjoy. TIA

Tell him to hold off deciding until he's seen it for himself. You can clearly see the two exterior portions of the ride from outside the attraction and those are the fastest portions of the ride. I think it's a ride you can really judge from seeing in person. Videos are almost always misleading.

I think it's cute and fun for what it is. We want to ride it every time we go right now. My boyfriend and I have decided we enjoy the ride more at night. It's harder to see where you're going which makes it all the more fun.
