Any updates on the work being done inside CW? The last I heard was that the stage was being taken out. Any new news of information?

To clarify:
The booth he is referring to is where the PI Live DJ's used to operate from. The PI Live DJ's now operate from above Laffers Cantina supporting Celebrate Tonight. There is also a bar called PI Live Bar that is still in operation in that corner of the Hub.

sorry, as far as I'm concerned, the PI live booth is above Sosa. That crap they spew from the former west end stage tech booth is all part of the worthless street party and thus to me, is not the PI live booth.
No argument from me, but the bar at the bottom of the hill is also called "PI Live", and I was curious about it's fate.

The PI Live bar is still operational. Only the former DJ booth and the entire light tower structure is coming down. Fire escape demolition has also begun over at Mannequins. Photos in my Save PI blog.

Lisa Glaze & Mark Daniel do occasionally at Mama's & sometimes Carol Stein & Mary Thompson Hunt are there as well.

For what it's worth, I ran into a former PI manager last night at the Aahz Reunion and he said the clubs at PI are definitely not coming back. He said there was just too much liability exposure to the Company and they wanted out of that. He confirmed that the goal is to "3rd Party" everything on the Island.

Just curious. In Anaheim, what does Disney operate at DTD other than a few fast food stands?

I find this a little odd that Disney think this is a good direction to go in. Its very clear when you go to DTD that marketplace is busy in the day and packed every night yet PI and WS are pretty quiet in comparison. The obvious difference being there is so much more Disney ran attractions (well shops anyway) in the marketplace.
People go to Disney for Disney. They can get everything else at many other places around the world.

You are SO correct. Problem is that they probably make more money collecting rent than operating stores and restaurants and bars. So the trend continues.

Quick update...
Old PI Live DJ booth is gutted down to the framework. Walls are still up around PI Live bar, but tower-thingy is down (and Harley sign remains up, somehow), a little mouse said walls will be gone sometime this week.
Up Hill Street, the opaque film is off the doors of the AdvClub. Be warned, it's not a pretty sight.

How odd, why would they want to take that off? Disney usually wants to hide any work going on so no matter what they have planned for AC you'd think removing that would be the last thing they'd be doing.
Still, at least something is finally happening to all these buildings.
