So what makes you happy at WDW that probably makes no one else happy???

Seeing the ferry boat at the TTC. It's my first Disney memory and it still gets me.

I'm sure it's not just me but there is a change when I walk through the train tunnel. Something about breaking that plane onto Main Street USA still gives me chills.

My wife always says her favorite part is watching me since she says it's the only place I really relax.

Most of mine are actually specific to Disneyland parks, not WDW. Hmm. But I can relate them to WDW.

I know a lot of people can't stand the smell of the fuel fumes from the speedway in MK but I love it. I think its from when I was a child and my dad let me steer the wheel. I know most people don't care for this ride but its nostalgic to me.

Yes. Speedway isn't nostalgic for me because I never went to WDW as a kid, but it smells just like Autopia so it does it for me. I LOVED driving kid cars as a kid (mainly at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk) and I still LOVE driving those kid cars. It's so much more fun than real cars...

IASW- Seriously, I love it. I have 2 must rides this and Peter Pan's Flight. I love the ride, the smell of it, the music. Every last single bit of it.

I only ride either of them once each trip- but only because I don't want to ruin it. They must remain special. I'm not sure there are any others out there like me. It's lonely loving that ride. ;)

IASW is my favorite, but specifically, the one at Disneyland. Just NOT the Christmastime overlay where they combine it with Jingle Bells. That must be how Haunted Mansion purists feel at DL from September to early January. I personally love the HM overlay but NOT the one on IASW.

The smell of Spaceship Earth, especially Rome burning!

Yes.

Walkways - the lighted ones in Epcot

Yes. Because on our first trip, which we enjoyed with our Floridian family, I watched my autistic cousin (first cousin once removed) play joyously on them...I'm not sure he had been allowed to dawdle there ever before, but he was walking with just me and my son and that's most definitely allowed with me...and it was nighttime and it was beautiful. I love that boy so much and love watching him enjoy himself, because it doesn't happen often enough.

For me it is walking across the lobby of the contemporary. We first went there when my 20 year old was 7 and my 17 year old was 3. Every time we go there I can see my little kids running across the lobby to the shop where we bought a monorail for my son.

The little bitty bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and the little soap bars at the resorts. I pack them away in my bag every night so they'll replenish them, but I never use them. I have a huge stash of them going back 10 years.

....I know, and I readily admit I have a problem, but it's not like I'm stealing the towels or anything!!!

I love those too! I don't have that big of a stash of them, but I do try to save a few so I can use them from time to time. My husband hates the way the shampoo, lotion, etc. smells, but I love it, just because it reminds me of Disney.

As soon as the warm, humid air hits me as we're getting off the plane at MCO, I'm elated!

Love, monorail safety message, MK good morning show, especially the confetti at the end, smell of water rides, that moment on Splash Mountain after the drop and you're feeling awesome, but the ride isn't even done, and you come around the corner with that big lit up scene playing zip-a-dee-do-dah! Going backwards the stars scene in Spaceship Earth, and all the smells, lit up sidewalks, Mexico outside/inside, so many!

I'm not a huge fan of IASW, but I am with you on Peter Pan's flight. This is almost always the first ride of the trip for me. I know a lot of people don't get what the big deal is about Peter Pan, but that is the ride I remember the most from when I went as a kid. I ride it as much as I can on our trips - I cannot wait to see the new queue!

Ducking from the spitting water as my daughter flies our Magic Carpet.
"Star light, star bright" start of wishes makes me giddy.
Trying to beat my daughter to Cinderella's horse on the carousel.
Watching the kids at Story time with Belle - especially the little Beast dancing with Belle.
Seeing kids reaching for the jewels during Mickey's Philharmagic.

My daughter (11) says "EVERYTHING"

I see that I am not the only one that likes the smell of Rome burning in Spaceship Earth.

At the end of the ride I also like seeing where people are from when the faces fly to their location.

What a fun thread.

-Getting off the tram in MCO, walking past security, and seeing the barrage of theme park stores. That always psychs me up, like the trip up to that point could have been to anywhere but at that moment I know where we're going.
-The music that plays as you enter EPCOT
-Opening up to the stars in SSE takes my breath away for a moment
-The smell and feel of the stores - it's not really a chill or a breeze but there's something physical.
-Watching CMs come by behind the parade and take down the posts and ropes and plug the street
-The awful English version of Las Ketchup they play on a loop at Pin Traders

I love the music on the bus when you arrive at AK and the music on the safari. My all time favorite is the music from the Tapestry of Nations parade that now plays as EPCOT is closing. I use to love the smell of the Polynesian before the remodel. Finally I love the monorail announcement.

Getting on Magical Express. We usually take a red eye and have a pretty empty bus-once all to ourselves!

Then, that first bus ride to our first park of the trip. You have the whole trip in front of you and hearing that Disney music for the first time is so great.

But my favorite is riding the boat from POFQ to DTD. I love going past the Treehouse Villas, especially at night. I just adore that boat ride. My dream Disney job is to drive one of the boats!

The can-can dancers in IASW-my daughter and I love when they sing ooh la la!

And my personal favorite....Viking coffee!

First favorite is getting my Mickey mail.

Cm's calling my DD's princesses

How the music on the bus changes depending on what park or resort your going to. Starts the excitement.

Love the Epcot music.

Finding hidden mickey's

I love the displays at the Emporium, like the wall of stuffed animals they often have. Usually things are in such pristine order, and I really like to look at how symmetrical everything looks with the brightly colored merch.

For someone who is never as organized as I'd like to be, Disney gift shops are really impressive.
