What ever happened with Cinderella Castle Suite? Obviously it's still there, but after a year of a million dreams did they stop letting people stay there or do they still surprise random guests with overnites? Just wondering.

We went on the Keys to the Kingdom tour in February and our guide said that they now let some of their partners use it now for promotions such as hotels.com and priceline.com. From what I understand, these promotional offers have also been reduced in frequency.
They no longer offer it to surprise random guests which was really cool - at least you could dream that you would win and had some hope!

A gal I know from another board, was at a Disney Mentor Mom Blogging event at WDW last month, and won a night at the castle for herself and her family. She posted pictures on her blog: http://disneymentor.com/?s=castle+suite

OMGoodness thanks for posting that link I got all goose bumps right from the start when she found out she won! They would have had a very hard time getting me out of there to go do rides or anything else :lmao: So happy for her and her family & perfect ages as they are old enough to always remember this

I thought I read some where that they "use" it for Make a wish... kids?

I so wish they would start picking families again to stay in the suite.

When I did KTTK last month our guide said the only way for most people to get it nowadays was if through some kind of company VIP booking, like if you you were high up in a partner company.
