So, what do you tie around your stroller to distinguish it from others?

DH & I were talking about this the other night, after I told him of the 'dirty diaper' trick that I read about on the boards. We were joking around that we should tie a pair of undies...no one would go near it then. haha. Seriously though, not sure what we can use to be really different. What do you do?

I ususally just tie a brightly colored bandanna around the handle as well as leaving a luggage type tag on it somewhere. My dd has a rainbow bandanna that works well.

A long strip of it...

We rent Disney Strollers, Nothing stands out better! Big Lime GREEN!!
And its unties Easy!

I actually was going to use a rag (bright red) to tie on our stroller. But when in Target (luggage section), they had these brightly colored luggage handle things on sale for $1. It worked beautifully. My DH puts it on his suitcase when he travels now too. It made it VERY easy to spot our stroller. Especially when they're were so many bandana's and scarves (many the same color) on all the other strollers.

I would go to the fabric store, buy ½ to 1 yard of what ever fabric you like (that stands out to you). Then if you’re crafty, fix it up a little, if you’re not then fold the fabric to fit the sun cover and tack it on with a few stitches. If you tack it on, you’ll be able to take it off easy and wont ruin you’re sun shade. You can also get ribbon either fabric or the gift kind (thick works best), wrap it around the bars near the handles. This will stand out as well as keep it easy to fold w/o streamers getting in the way. Hope this gives you a few ideas.

Have a Great Disney Day!!!

a hanging kitchen towel, the kind with the button on it to hang it from the oven door handle. Get a bright colored one. It stands out, and comes in handy to wipe off sticky hands, etc.

But I take fabric paint and put our last name on the stroller canopy. I also do that with our luggage. People have actually comment how much easier it must be for us to find our luggage/stroller.

We used a colorful bandanna from Michael's, though any craft store will carry them. A luggage tag is good, too, in case someone still accidentally walks away with your stroller. Skip the diaper trick - with all the garbage cans around the parks, who would actually carry a REAL dirty diaper around like that??

I loop a pretty lei on it that I bought at the Poly. It is not the free one but one I paid for and looks much different. We can pick the stroller out in a sea of other Maclarens very easily.

Thats a great idea but I haven't been able to find one. Looked at Walmart and Linens N Things. I think I'll start looking for a golf towel-may be easier to find.

Last year I just used a piece of ribbon.

I also use fabric paint. I don't put my name on if I am planning to sell the stroller. But I have painted frogs for my boys, and several Disney characters on both my stroller and my girls luggage. Then I spray it with a sealer to make it last. We have used bandanas, and I braided several very heavy pieces of fabic, tied it on the stroller, then when we left it somewhere, I pulled the braid up like a flag on a mailbox. Have fun!!

I just bought a very bright lime green bandanna at Walmart for .98 cents! I our stroller will stand out from far away and all my disboards friends will know I'm their.

I bought a spool of bright lime green checked ribbon at JoAnn's for .50 ....I will use it to tie on the stroller and also our luggage to make it easier to find.
I was thinking of tying a piece on the rental car antenna too so maybe it will be a little easier to find in the parking lots.....anyone ever put something on the car to make it easier to find?

We pack a small flag on a stick, which we poke into the handle/ back of the stroller, standing up. Mrs. Ambassador has torn a length of duct tape off her feet (you know) to tape an 'X' on the top, which may help with GPS satellite location (she thinks).

we always put a yellow bandana on our luggage and on our rental van antenna so we could find both very easily, but that was back in '98 and now everyone does that and it's getting harder to find. I really like the lime green idea though, only the disers would be doing that color and we could meet some great people!

bright orange bandana at Wal-Mart to tie onto my stroller which arrived yesterday!!!!! We are leaving in 6 days now so I am going nuts trying to remember everything.

We used a red bandanna. It was a huge help when cast members re-arrange the strollers while you are in a ride.

I twist hot pink and bright blue bandanas together and it works great....spot from quite a distance. Good luck. Del :sunny:
