The kids and I are heading to the Cape for 4 days, to swim in the pool, and maybe play some mini-golf. DH will be home, going to work everyday.

Last year, we went up to the frozen tundra, Moosehead Lake in Maine, where it snowed on us. I am hoping the Cape will not be frozen, and we won't have any snow! :teeth:

We have our first Red Sox game of three this year on April 18th!!!!!!! Woohooo!!!!!

We already had our Spring Break and we did absolutely nothing. Of course it was before we bought the new van so we didn't have a CAR to go anywhere... lol.

The girls get 5 days off next week for Easter but we still aren't going anywhere, younger dd's birthday is on Easter day so we are having her party that day.

My spring break was almost a month ago. We went to a Monarchs hockey game and watched them lose pitifully. I spent a day campaigning for my dad (he was elected as town selectman that day), and then spent the rest of the week working for my dad, sorting the receipts from his 3 month business trip, then organizing his receipts and credit card statements from the past 8 months  Yeah, it was a real fun spring break

Nothing here. Well we do have a b-day party to go to on the 15th and my dad and his fiance want to come to the house on Friday to do Easter for the kids.

DD gets all this week off for Spring Break, but DS only gets Good Friday and the Monday after Easter off {their in two different school districts}. But next year they will finally be in the same school building after 3 years of running them to two different schools. YEA!!! :cheer2: Best part is the school is one street over from our house so they can walk. We finally get to save on gas.....

Needless to say DS is none to happy that his sister gets a full week off from school. Especially since she has been home for a week already cause she was sick. I'm ready for her to get back to school! She is driving me insane!!! LOL!!!!

We're going to Washington D.C. We're taking the kids to the White House Easter Egg Roll, The National Zoo, and the Air and Space Musuem or the Museum of American History. We did the Musuem of Natural History last time we were there. I want to see some cherry blossoms if they're still around, I haven't been to D.C. in the spring before.

I told the boys we were going to the White House and they said, "Snow White's house?" :rotfl:

My kids spring break is over - hallelujah!! They go back to school tomorrow. I like that our spring break is earlier than everything else - no black out days at Disneyland!

We are not going anywhere...except DD11 who is going to the beach with friends for 4 days.

I will be home packing/planning for our 9 day Disney trip...we're pulling DD11 & DS8 out of school & leaving May 10...I'd never go over Spring Break (at least I don't think so...too crowded).

I'll also be making some matching Mickey shirts for our trip. :earsboy:

Spring break was many weeks ago. We went to Disney, no blackout there in March either! Only 7 more weeks of school now!

Wear your lime green--maybe we'll see you there...yeah, right with the thousands of people! :teeth: I'll have my Mickey ears with my username on my backpack.

When are you getting your tickets? Assuming the forcast for Easter Monday is good, I'm planning on going down on Saturday to get tickets.

We love The Cape Codder in Hyaniis as they have a mini (very mini) water park with two slides. Haven't been in a couple of years tho.

Well, if the Delta pilots don't strike - WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!! :cool1:

I'm setting up Friday night for tickets...actually I'm sending DH Friday night for tickets...he'll be there around 8pm with his cooler of food, a lawn chair and sleeping bag! I heard for the past few years even though it rained they still had it for the first hour so my goal is to get tickets for the first hour of the egg roll so even if it rains, we'll still be able to participate. I'll be looking for you! :thumbsup2

Yikes, you're way more dedicated than I am! :teeth: So just one person can go get tickets on Saturday morning, right? I was thinking of waking up early and going, maybe with my DH if he wants time alone with me (we have older kids who can stay home with our 6yo). The last time we went was 2000 I think and then the tickets were only given out Easter Monday, which was a pain because a person had to go early that morning (or at least part of the party had to go). We tried going the next year, but it rained. Of course if my DH does with me Saturday then I'll have to promise him breakfast out after we get the tickets. :rotfl:

Well, sad to say that we just cancelled our DisneyWorld ressies for Easter break because we just booked a 7 night Western (Carribean) DISNEY cruise for May 20th. :cool1: :Pinkbounc

We drive down to Disney every Christmas & Easter but this year we had to cancel our Easter plans since we're not the Trumps! :guilty: My kids are disappointed too but they know that just a few weeks after, we'll be headed down for our first cruise ever. We'll be cruising with some dear friends, so we're really excited. (Not to turn this into a debate thread but we're taking our kids out of school for this cruise ~ altho they won't miss that much since the holiday weekend falls into our return drive home.)

We were going to head to my brothers in San Jose and spend the week doing San Francisco and Santa Cruz, but DS's high scchool baseball team has games every day including the Saturday. We are going nowhere :sad2:

I think they'll give out a maximum of 5 tickets per family, no more than 2 adults per family and at least one child under age 7. I don't think it matters if one or two people are standing in line. We've been planning this trip for over a year so I didn't want to leave any chance that we wouldn't get tickets, that's why we're going so early.

I'm going to the Bahamas with some co-workers. the first part of our trip looks like it will be raining, so I'll be in the casino and the shops :)
