So I can buy a park ticket and then not use it and just give it to someone else? For example, I'd like to just buy a 5 day ticket, not use it in Sept. when im there for free dining, but I can have my girlfriend buy it off me and she can just use it for our Nov. trip?
You'd have to get your tickets "unlinked" from your KTTW card, as when you book a package, everything (park tickets included) get tagged on to the KTTW.

Yes you can we have done it before with some of our 1 day tickets. I have an AP so I havent needed to use my ticket. I have let a friend have the one day ticket and I have also used to the 1 day tickets to put towards the purchase of my AP.
If your girlfriend needs a 5 day ticket instead of giving her a one day and her buying a 4 day she should be able to turn in the one day for the value to be used towards a 5 day ticket.

We did the same thing last year when our son and his wife went with us - it is just a one day ticket, and does not expire, and is not linked to any one person.
I booked the free dining package at POP aug 24-30 with 1 day base tickets. Me and my husband have seasonal passes so we don't need the one day tickets. I have heard that you could use them towards other tickets. Could we put the value of all three tickets together for a seasonal pass for my stepdaughter? thanks....

I asked this on another thread but I'll try again...how do you get the ticket unlinked? Does it have to be done at the end of the trip? Going to WDW with friend, neither of us needs a ticket. We want to give one to another friend meeting us for one day, but she wants to upgrade it to a Florida resident pass with days for later use. I was told by a CM that you can only unlink the ticket at the end of your trip because it needs to be there in order for the DP to work (which didn't make sense to me - he said that's why you have to purchase at least a one day ticket with the DP). She can't use one of KTTW cards with our names on them, we aren't Florida residents.
