So sad. :(

I agree with the others and try to break up the party by making 2 reservations for the same time. If you arrive earlier and ask if they could try to sit you close together, they might be able to do it.

Go online every day and keep trying. The other thing, try for any of the meals....try not to limit yourself to just dinner or just lunch. Something will eventually open up...it may be an off time, but if you can work it out, it will be worth it. Eating in the castle, in my opinion, is totally worth it. And if you've never done it, I would keep trying. :goodvibes Good luck !!!!

Don't give up! I didn't start booking my reservations until 90 prior, and I've gotten everything I wanted. Maybe not right away, but I checked daily. I even kept a close eye on the threads here and grabbed the perfect CRT reservation. You'll get one, just keep trying.

IMO, CRT is overpriced and underwhelming. There's much better food and character interaction at 1900 Park Fair.
If your girls have never been to Disney, they won't even know there's anything to be disappointed about by not going to CRT. I'm sure they'll have a magical time at WDW and won't even think about CRT.

We've been to CRT, 1900, and Akershus. I absolutely agree with the above. VERY underwhelmed with CRT. I'd much rather go to Akershus. Less rushed aand less crowded! AND,it's less expensive (only 1 TS if you are using the DDP).

It's so easy to get caught up in the frenzy of these boards and thus feel like you HAVE to do certain things or your WDW vacation will be ruined. Honestly, the only thing that can "ruin" a Disney trip is our attitude.
OP--I know your kids will have a magical time regardless of where you eat.

:thumbsup2 I totally agree. I see that other posters are encouraging this mindset that's just setting the OP and her kids up for disappointment. :confused3

Definately don't give up!! I've heard alot of people being able to get what they want by just trying over and over again. Good luck, I hope you really get what you want :goodvibes

How is encouraging her to keep trying and then offering her other options setting her up for disappointment? She's got months before her trip so a CRT ressie just might pop up. Plus, we're not talking about a family that goes every year and can't get CRT, we're talking about a family that might not get back for years, if ever, so that meal in the castle will probably be pretty dang special for them.

OP..I thought I would let you know, I just went online to book my dining reservations and when I put in CRT for our date for a party of 8 nothing came up. But then when I seperated it to 2 reservations for 4, I had a plethera of times to choose from (for October 3rd). I asked a CM earlier and they said thats the best way to do it and arrive about 20-30 minute early and let the staff know you have 2 reservations and want to be seated close together. They will do it. I would actually show up even earlier to let them know in advance (like earlier in the day) so they can add that info.

I got all my reservations I wanted!! Oh and we had to do the same thing at the Garden Grill as well. Good Luck!
