..on my volleyball team, 6 are out sick. 3 have swine flu, 2 might have swine flu, and one we just don't know about. I'm one of the two who might..

In my high school, about 400 kids are out right now from the flu. It's hitting Western Wisconsin pretty hard right now.

Anywho;; are any other cities experiencing back outbreaks like this?! Or have you have the flu this year?!

Ahh down here in NC we're getting hit pretty good. 1600 kids go to my school, around 400 kids have been out (at any point during this year) because of H1N1 or possible H1N1. Luckily, not me.

There's been a few kids here gone but supposably they just have the regular flu. I know one school that hundreds of kids left in the middle of school because they were sick. It was crazy. There is a few people in our town that have swine flu.

My school is getting hit too. There are five girls on the volleyball team that might have swine and two conformed cases. Tons of people were missing today because they were sick. I'm in the west suburbs of Chicago where a girl at another high school near by died of swine and a few other things. It's almost become a joke at my school, swine09. While it's not funny, some kids are freaking out over it which makes it a little funny. Anyway...yes it is around here too. But, I'm not worried.

Woah woah woah! She died?! That's intense and kind of scary.

Our varsity team is having some major issues. We have our biggest tournament of the season Saturday and now 7 girls are out; one more added to the list tonight. Plus Regionals start next week. :/

I guess we are starting to get it in ohio.
I had it, and its not bad at all people need to quit freaking out about it because its just as life threatening as the regular flu; just new.

My sister had it..She already posted on here about it. A lot of kids at school have colds and flu like symptoms. It's hitting the nursing program I am in now at the local tech center. The adult classes brought it in. We have 21 in my nursing class and there was only 18 of us there today.

Not sure about my school. Go figure, there are only 300 of us.
But some woman that works with my mom came back from Florida (guess where she went) the other day, and thinks she has it.

It hasn't hit our part of Jersey. yet.

I'm not worried either; but I will be taking more precautions to make less like touching, sharing contact, with other people.


Besides, who likes being sick? - Not me.

Not really, it hit here about June-ish. I had it then, a brief bout that we caught early enough to treat it. Brit, if you're not on Tamiflu yet get it STAT! Whether it's swine or the regular flu, it'll save your rear.

I just got over it actually, and like 5 other kids in my grade have gotten it, but they got it a few months ago.
And over 150 students in another school in my state have gotten it...ickk

I missed 2 days of school last week with swine flu like symptoms but I went to the doctors and they didn't seem to think anything of it. A lot of people have allergies right now but there hasn't been like significant amounts of people out.
