SO jo Bro...

Thanks for that!

Can someone tell me, would I use the same presale code that they've already given me, or do they issue a new code for the new shows?

Thanks!

I saw this on the JB's web site:

Usually you only get one code per tour, but idk how it will work out tomorrow, since they had so many problems yesterday.

Thats very unfortunate that your daughter is so disappointed, given the fact what you had to go through in order to get the tickets, not to mention the cost. Had my child done it, you can bet those tickets would be up for sale in a heartbeat, hopefully going to a more deserving child who would appreciate going no matter where the seats were. ;)

I was ready to post this very thing. If my DD12 dared be disappointed in the seats we got then she would not be going.

We have a saying in our house- "It's fine to be spoiled just not rotten!"

My co-worker received an email from the fan club on Monday night/Tuesday morning apologizing for the problems with the presale. It contained a new presale code.

Hope anyone who wanted tickets for today was able to get them.

I know someone mentioned being dissapointed in not getting lower level seats (100 level) on the side at the NJ show. I wanted to let you all know that apparently in NJ those seats were part of the VIP package.

A freind went to get seats today to the newly added show and was dissappointed to only see 100 level seats on the side or 200 level seats. She on a whim tried to get 2 VIp seats and was offered some in the 107 level row 16 for $400 each! She did not get them but i think it's not right that these tickets were so much. I don't think i ever had a chance of getting these tickets if they were the $400 seats.

So im patiently waiting for the Citi presale, which supposedly started at 10am.

I keep refreshing and nothing yet. :headache:

I really dont want to be doing this all day.

Nevermind, there was a different section in which to order them from.

Got em, dont really give a crap if the kids arent pleased with the seats. If they dont like it, they can take a day off work and shell out $500 next time. :)

Last summer we had our first family vacation in six years and we stayed at the AKL because the pool at the CBR was under renovation. Our 13 year old dd loved it so much she couldn't wait to visit again. She didn't remember our last visit (we stayed at the CBR) since she was only 7 at the time.

Then August came and I surprised her with Jonas Brothers tickets at Madison Square Garden. This was her very first concert, and where else to be, but at the Garden. We went the first night and let me tell you, the seats we had were great. Section 83, if it were a hockey game, these were the seats to have. We had a great time, and even I was amazed at these talented kids.

So anyway, this past February, we returned to the AKL and as usual, had the best time ever. So much so, we're returning in July.

Then the Jonas Brothers announced their tour schedule::eek:

Holy cow, you would have thought the world was coming to and end...."when are we going to Disney?"

"July 11-18"

"Jonas Brothers are going to be in New Jersey when we're away!!!!!" :sad1:

So I check the website and lo and behold they're going to be on Long Island a couple of days after we're back. Now I hate driving on LI, and driving on LI during the summer, I don't care what time of day it is, I sit in traffic. But, we're talking the Jonas Brothers.

So, last Monday, I'm sitting here at work, on the computer with hi-speed internet access and it literally took me a couple of hours to get through for tickets.:surfweb: I didn't know the site crashed. I couldn't figure it out! So after waiting forever and a day, I finally got section 6 on the floor. I would have rather have something a little higher, but hey, it's floor seats. And judging from the seating chart, they seem to be ok seats.

But now I have purchased tickets, I can no longer purchase any more tickets for this tour using the fan club presales. So I purchased a membership for me, just in case they decide to come to the Garden, which I would prefer.

Next time, maybe I'll just do StubHub.

I'll be doing a lot of travelling this July.

Momthechauffer-

WOW you got excellent seats for LI! I was tempted to go with LI as my SIL lives out there but i too hate driving on LI in the summer.

Your daugther is going to be so excited for the show!

We saw them at MSG last year as well. had nosebleed seats but I was still happy with them.

They only saved 200 seats for VIP. 100 on the first few rows on the floor, and 100 on the lower level.

The bulk of my in-laws are out there, let me tell you, I try to visit in the winter. Then I literally fly on the Southern State! Got to Massapequa once in 90 minutes.

We are very excited. I had to use the gas cap for illustration and the dust on my pick-up to draw out the runways from the "stage" (gas cap). She hugged me so hard, tears were coming down her cheeks. :yay:

The show is supposed to start at 7:30. It's my first day back at work, but I have summer hours, so I'm leaving at 2:00 to get out to Hempstead by 4'sh. I know it's 2 hours, but I'm allowing for traffic, because I just remembered, I should check the Mets schedule and see if they are in town, because I will hit Shea (oops, CitiField) traffic. It's going to take me a year and a day just to get out of there.:rolleyes1 I'm tempted to call my brother-in-law in Mineola, but I just want to get home afterwards.

I'm still holding out hope for the Garden.

Remember, you are only allowed to use the presale code only once per tour.

It says on the website, right above the dates of the tour, NOT TO TRY TO TEST. If you click on a venue that is currently having a presale and you get a passcode, you will not be able to purchase tickets to another venue using a presale passcode. I'm serious, I know someone who on last Friday, decided to test to see if the passcode link worked. So she clicked on a venue that was still have presales (1500 miles from where they live) and got a passcode. She didn't use it, but because of that, when she did get on Monday for the presales in her area, she was locked out because she got a passcode already for this tour. Had to buy another fan club membership to get access to the added dates. Her dd is going to wonder why she got all this fan club stuff when it eventually comes in the mail.

Once the presale has ended, tickets open up the public.

If you get shut out from getting tickets, this is what I did last year----go to Stub Hub. If you see seats you like, keep an eye on them. I got my tickets about a week before the show. They came down a bit in price. I did the virtual seating on the Garden website and grabbed them. Yeah, it cost me more (it's like legalized scalping, but at least you know the tickets are real), and worth every penny.

Remember, this concert is "in-the-round", so the conventional seating plans at venue websites might not reflect their staging. Unless they have a special one set up, like Nassau Coliseum and Ikon Center (will always be the Brendan Byrne Arena).

For the Wachovia center in July, do you think all the 100 level tickets are sold out? I am trying to get tickets and all they seem to have is the 200 level. My daughter is 5 and I am not so sure she would be able to see. I know there are screens and stuff but the 200 level seems so far away.

Did you go on Wachovia's virtual seating? It might be a bit far away, but since there are screens it shouldn't be too bad. If you get last row of the upper deck it might not be worth it. Perhaps just knowing she's in the same room as them would suffice?

I order the tickets. We are sitting in section 205A row 1. I am sure she will just enjoy being there.................she better.:rotfl2:

I just looked at the virtual seating on the Wachovia website, not bad.

Have fun. Oh----one word of advice-----buy earplugs. I'm serious. You're ears will be ringing for a couple of hours after the concert. My ears were ringing for about 90 minutes after the concert. You will hear much better with the plugs. You might want to get a pair for your daughter. It's a combination of the volume of the concert paired with the screaming. The plugs will filter out alot of the background noise, and you will hear more of the music better.

I play bagpipes, and playing pipes in a closed room with 10 other pipers is NOTHING compared to the noise level I experienced last summer. I ears never rang after practice.
