just joined the fan club for presale tix - NOW how much are they going to be?:confused3 Tampa Fl

I wonder how much they will be? They are playing at the Tacoma dome.

The prices we have seen have run from $30 to about $100. We have 2 memberships because we are trying for two concerts. I'm hoping for really good seats for one and just seats for the other.

Mpls seats are @29.50 - $89.50 before Ticketmaster fees. If you can't find prices on Ticketmaster, try the actual arena website. That is where I found them. I pulled up the Jo Bros seating chart at Target Centers website, and the prices were on there.

Any idea what the likelyhood of actually getting any tickets with the fanclub membership is? I mean, do they sell out in 60 seconds? I'd hate to pay the $35 and end up ticketless.

Also, anyone ever use the Citi presale? I don't have a Citibank credit card, but a relative said I could use hers. Don't know much about this presale either.

We ended up with lawn seats last time. It was ok, but the venue they'll be at this time doesn't even have lawn seats. That means less tickets available...

I hope it goes better than the joining the miley fan club to buy hers went. Eevn wiht the membership, there were no seats left to get cuz Ticketmaster had a blip and sold them to the general public 3 days befor they went on sale to members. Oops !!, sorry but we can't take them back. Resellers had them in hadn before members could even buy them!

I also just joined the Jo. Bro. fan club for my daughter so that we can hopefully get tickets. We are in NY, but she already asked me to get her tickets for the Tampa concert, and make a short trip to WDW...In her dreams!! Hopefully we can get tickets for the IZOD center or in Long Island.

i have been meaning to join this for my DD. Can somoene tell me where on the site you join the $35 club? all i can see if the "free" community.

thanks
Lara

I was wondering too how hard it is to get tickets even as part of the fan club. Husband and I were considering joining fan club today for presale Monday. Are we too late in joining? How quickly do the tickets go?

I would never join a fan club for a concert presale. It makes no sense. They only release some of the tickets then and they don't release all of the good seats. Join a fanclub b/c you want to be a member. There will be tickets available for the general sale.

Plus, there are all kinds of pre-sales. As someone mentioned, Citibank has presales. The venues themselves offer presales. I get e-mails all the time from a couple of venues here with presale info. Check the radio station website sponsoring the concert to see if they're having a presale. These options don't cost you $35.

Also, as the Miley situation showed, being a fan club member in no way guarantees you tickets. You might end up disappointed and feel like you wasted your money.

Also, if you don't get tickets during the presale and the general sale, keep checking Ticketmaster, especially as the concert date gets closer. They will often release seats that were held for the artist and the record company that they aren't going to use. I've bought tickets the morning of the concert that were really good when all I could get previously were nosebleeds.

We were members of the JB fan club last year during the presales. We ended up with decent tickets. Obviously, the better seats were taken by promos, etc, but we still got okay seats. The general public sale went so fast that I was just too afraid to chance it. I'm glad I did the fan club pre sale and will be using it again for this tour. I will say that it was a disaster last year. All the shows went on presale on the same day and the site (jbfc) had a difficult time handling all the hits. They are somewhat (although I don't believe enough) spreading out the presales. Hopefully, they learned from last year and it will be better. Fortunately for me, I will be doing the Atlanta presale at 10 EST and then the New Orleans one at 11 EST. I'm hoping that will also help. Also, Lakewood has far fewer seats than Philips Arena, so that should help too.

Us too.. we got 6th row tix for Miley right on the edge of the catwalk 3hrs before the show. I knew to check thanks to the DIS!) Apparently when they set up the stage they might decide that they can fit in more chairs at the last minute. Some people around us had paid $1200 for their seats.. and we were closer. :scared1:

Last year about this time, I bought the membership for my DH so I could get concert tickets for her bday gift. We got 4th row seats!! But better than that, she won a meet & great thru the fan club. It was the night of her life and I'm so glad that I could be a part of it with her. She actually ended up standing AT the stage the entire concert and ALMOST touched Joe! So, when the Cleveland tickets go on sale, we'll be hoping to get that lucky again!

I'll be trying to get tickets for the NO concert for my dd and niece:thumbsup2

I had bought my dd a membership to the fanclub for Christmas and she loves it. I figure atleast the presale give me an extra chance to try - if I don't get any through presale we will try again when the tickets open up to the public.

For those who are participating in the presale on monday, can you post how it goes and how you do? i think my presale will be afterwards and i wonder if there will be any issues or concerns.

thanks!

I agree - I would love to hear how it goes today. The presale for New Orleans is next monday.
