BWV is hard to get in October (b/c of being close to Epcot) how is it getting WLV at the 7month window? We are looking at a 2 bedroom from Oct 15 to 21.

We already have SS booked for both weeks but would like a 'change' for our 2nd week. Not sure if I should have a '2nd' choice or call day by day or what!? This is our first trip home and we are taking the IL's for their first ever trip to the world!! We also bought before reading the 'buy where you want to stay' advice!

If you call as soon as your 7 month window opens, you have a good chance of getting into BWV. You probably won't be able to get a standard view or a Boardwalk view, but IMHO there will be PV-Pool/Garden rooms left. I also think you have a good shot at getting into VWL if you'd prefer to be there.

Give MS a call when the time comes - you just never know until you call becasue availability changes so frequently. Don't be afraid to use the waitlist if some of the days are not available when you first call.

I've had very good luck getting VWL in Oct. at the 7 month window. Never in a two bedroom, either a studio or 1 bdroom.
Try it. I think you'll be surprised.

Remember, though, VWL is the smallest DVC, so that might make it a little more difficult. Especially with MNSSHP going on at the MK.

But it doesn't hurt to try.

We got VWL at the 7 month for the week of May 7th with no problems.
