and up at the front of the the crowds?

I believe MK we want to be there by 8:00 correct? What about the others? For Animal Kingdom we have reservations for Tusker House at 8:05, what time would we want to be there for that?

We're staying at Windsor Hills, anyone know about how much time we should allow for drive time, parking, monorail etc?

In moderate crowd times, 8:15 will get you at or close to the front if the line. Make sure not to overlook smaller lines on far right or left. It used to be less important to arrive early at MK since everyone is let into the welcome show area. 8:30 used to be fine in moderate crowd level times, not sure if new rope drop procedure changes this much. Probably should add or subtract 15 min in very high or low crowd times.

We were at mk 3 times this past week and all 3 times the park opened at 8:45. We knew epcot & hs opened early but it was the first time we saw mk open early too.

Thank you for the responses.

Another question. I know once you enter the MK parking lot you still need to take the monorail in addition to the entrance and bag checks. How long does all that take? How about for the other parks?

We have stayed at Windsor hills in the past several times. It's only a ten minute drive to MK. 5 mins to animal kingdom if you use sherberth road, it's a back way and will save you time and traffic. I would allow 45minutes to an hour to get to MK for rope drop. This will allow for drive, parking, tram ride and monorail or ferry to MK entrance. Arrive to animal, kingdom by 7:45am. It takes a good 10 mins to walk from entrance to restaurant and you will want pics of the tree of life without all the crowds.

do they still make sure they open the international gateway entrance for Epcot at the same time as the front entrance? We will be at BWV.

Thank you, that's very helpful!
