was the joanns sale only today? Darn it all too, I was at Mike's today which is in the same shopping center and J's. No wonder the parking lot was covered up, everyone was picking up Carts.

I am not sure when the sale started. I read about it on the Cricut boards this morning and when I called to check they were gone.

Ok, i broke down today and went to ACM where they have had them on sale all this week - got mine for $125. - then took a look at the cartridges - the sign said $89., but i had put aside money to buy the Alphalicious one - took it all to the checkout - could not believe it when the cartridge price was $59, so i went back and bought the Makin the Grade one too. I spent a lesser amount for everything than I would have spent just for the machine if it had not been on sale. Plan on opening it up tomorrow and getting going.
Gee that really breaks my promise of no more scrapping stuff for the summer... If it hadn't been for the ACM flyer and my weak will power..... oh well!!!

BTW- My Joanns had a couple of carts on sale for 19.97 today. I got bags, boxes and tags today. Check them out also.

My daughter hasn't posted this and it's been since Tuesday, so I feel it's ok for me to talk about it now.

We went to our Joanns on Tuesday. She noticed Christmas Cheer was on clearance for $19.97. She picked it up and then I picked up the last one. Mine said to ask the store for the contents because it had already been opened. When I went to check-out, they couldn't find the insides and said it shouldn't have been put on the shelf. So, my daughter got it for $19.97. I was sad for me, but she says she will share. Unfortunately, she lives about 1/2 hour away by interstate 70 mph driving. I'll just have to keep looking. Her Joanns doesn't have the same pricing that ours does so she gets a lot of stuff at ours.

Christmas Cheer was the only one that was on clearance at ours.

My little Jiminy Cricut, otherwise known as my teenage daughter, keeps telling me the only one I need to buy is the Mickey Font, and to quit looking at all the others. I saw on the cricut boards today that one of the new ones has a pirate eye patch, treasure chest etc. and I was all excited, and she was harping on me to quit looking. I think she's afraid that I may spend our WDW vacation money on all my scrapbooking supplies.

I'm in utter turmoil now. I said I was going on a scrap spending freeze.....but you all are having so much fun with your Cricuts and I only have the George cart and the Disney carts....but I can't really use the Disney carts until August after our trip.....and the AC Moore ad in my email today says all Cricut carts 40% off! I want Base Camp, Doodlecharms, and Speaking of Fall....what am I going to do?????

When I first read it I also thought your Cricut was broken, I'm so glad to hear you bug is doing fine. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love my bug. I'm so addicted to it and the Cricut message board. I have to make cards for teachers today so I get to play with my bug and I can't wait. Congrats on the bug.

I keep missing all the sales! I didn't know the carts were so cheap at J's. We were shopping yesterday and I had fprgotten my J's coupon so I decided to skip them. That's what I get for not checking the boards before I left yesterday. I really want to Mickey font but I don't want to pay full price and I keep missing it when someone posts its on sale.

Ok looks like when I go to Lowes to get paint I'm just gonna have to go to ACMoore and pick up some carts. See what happens when DH wants me to buy paint.

Hmmmm we are going in the same direction today to buy bookcases, maybe I can do all 3 at once. Then DH will help me pick one out. He owes me, I'm letting him get an IPhone at the end of the month. LOL

Buffy, I know! I wanted to start Yoda's album this past January, and I just haven't been able to...IT is SO hard. Plus, I've got several empty frames sitting here, ready for some of his pictures. All I can say is, I know....

Plus, I feel like I'm not going to do a good enough job of making his story as meaningful as he was in my life, so I just don't get started. I want the memories to stay fresh, though, so I need to get started.

I know!!! I want to do it right which is why I haven't started either. I also haven't found the "perfect" album either so I'm just doing pages.

I'm trying to step out of the box while working on his pages but he was such a big part of our lives. DH bought him for me as a wedding gift and when DH was out to sea Popcorn was my constant companion. He has been gone for 2 years now and it still hurts. DS6 wants another dog but I don't think I can go through that again.

Kim1964 - I think they took the 40% off my carts yesterday at ACM, (they may have been programmed in then) which is why they each were $59. -have been looking at this machine for a while and the price could not be beat, so now I have to stop for the summer. Gee, I think I declared that 2 weeks ago.
My local ACM told me they are expecting the new Cricut Expressions in next week, and I asked if the carts are compatible, and she told me YES. Not that I have any money for the new one, just excited to be trying this one. Caroline

I have a couple days left to decide if I want to get another cart at ACM before the sale ends. I really want Mickey Font - I used it at a crop last night and I it! I don't think my willpower will be strong enough to resist.
