Since points will be higher In 2023. We’re hoping for a two bedroom at VWL for a few days, and I just realized we’ll be on our cruise for the booking date. I fully intend to pay for Internet so we’ll be booking 11 months out.

Who else is planning for December 2022 and booking 11 months out, not waiting.

I've been underwhelmed by my first stay during the first two weeks.of December, this year. Canceled shows and entertainment, debut of Genie+ and increased crowds made the experience much less pleasant than usual. I'm not rushing to book early December again. Good luck to everyone who'll try

We’re booking December next year too Riviera (home resort) and then hoping to switch to Poly at 7 months. It might not be possible but, my parents will be staying at the Poly (their home resort).

We spent points on ten nights for a 2 BR and leave tomorrow. I am tapped out for points next year but Christmas 2023 will happen. If only I could talk my children into buying their own points

We don’t always want the same sort of Villa, so fixed week wouldn’t work for us, but I do understand the appeal!

We are happy to begin the stay in November which does help. This year we began the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Both we, and then our friends covered time period November 27 to December 10 had great times at WDW this year. Looking forward to next year at roughly the same time.

We have been going the first couple weeks in December for several years. Next year will be the first we are not going.
Between the crowds increasing every year in December (MK insanely crowded every time we tried this past trip) and the point increase (1 bedroom standard BWV is now 171 going to 180 when it was 154), we decided that's enough to try a different time of year or get out and do something different.
Our first visit in December was back in '07. I realize things were bound to change but the last few years we personally feel the changes are for the worse, not better.
Maybe you will luck out and find others in my boat.

This year we began the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Both we, and then our friends covered time period November 27 to December 10 had great times at WDW this year. Looking forward to next year at roughly the same time.

We beat you by a day for our annual winter trip . very glad we still had Gold APs or would’ve been locked out of the parks

accordingly, we will be moving our annual trip forward to the first or 2nd full week in December.

the contract I have allocated for that trip is a December 2022 UY lol. No walking this time & likely no value studio either without a bit of luck cobbling things together. could try our WL contract, don’t have to be genius to guess those studios will likely snatched up quickly by walkers

At least we will be fully retired by then and have flexibility to adjust our dates once the dust settles.

Next year, I think DH and I want Nov 29 or 30th to December 4 by ourselves, ( I guess we better make up our minds!) and then VWL two bedroom with our friends.

I may try to book December 30, 31 in BLT for the New Year 2022, but no parks for us then. After that maybe Vero or any place we can get at 7 months.

We arrived the Monday after Thanksgiving this year ( had to work the weekend unfortunately)
This year I don’t have that weekend so we are heading down the Friday after Thanksgiving. Going to Legoland for two days first.
Just booked Saratoga Springs starting Sunday.
We had a great time this year despite the crowds. I like to try different things so this will most likely be our last trip this time for awhile.
We plan on doing all things Christmas instead of just Disney.
2 nights Legoland, 1 day MK, 1 day at Fort Wilderness, 1 day Seaworld, night of million lights, the Xmas stuff at Gaylord and maybe Universal for a day or the Orlando informer event. We went this year but I feel like we missed a lot. DD was bummed she didn’t met the Grinch.
