So How Many Different Disney Resorts Have You Stayed at....

I feel like mine's a short list compared to a lot of others here! I've stayed:

Fort Wilderness Cabins
AS Music (3x)
AS Movies
POP Century
And upcoming: Caribbean Beach in September!

I think next on the list will be POR. We were going to stay there this year but switched to CBR to get Free Dining. And then someday maybe I'll be able to afford a deluxe, lol.

I've stayed at:
Dixie Landings (PO-R)
Grand Floridian
Polynesian
Beach Club
Disney Magic
Coronado Springs
Hilton Head Island Resort
Old Key West
Boardwalk Villas
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Vero Beach Resort
Wilderness Lodge
Grand Californian Hotel
Saratoga Springs Resort
Animal Kingdom Villas
Wilderness Lodge Villas
Bay Lake Tower
Grand Californian Villas
Aulani

My favorite WDW resort is the Boardwalk, as that is our home resort, and I love being so close to 2 parks.

My least favorite is Saratoga. It just feels like a retirement village rather than a Disney resort.

All Star Movies
Port Orleans Riverside
Port Orleans French Quarter
Animal Kingdom Jambo
Animal Kingdom Kidani
Wilderness Lodge
Saratoga Springs
Old Key West
Bay Lake Tower
Polynesian
Grand Californian

and which is your favorite and least favorite? Also, what resort would you like to try that you haven't yet?

-Contemporary Garden Wings (in the late '70's/early '80's with my parents)
-Polynesian (in the late 70's/early 80's with my parents & then CL with my DH for part 1 of our honeymoon)
-Wilderness Lodge (CL Honeymoon Suite for part 2 of our honeymoon)
-Animal Kingdom Lodge (Arusha Savannah before they charged extra for it)
-Caribbean Beach
-Coronado Springs
-Port Orleans French Quarter
-Dixie Landings/Port Orleans Riverside
-Pop Century
-Swan

I'm dying to stay at Fort Wilderness Cabins, especially during the holidays. I would also like to stay at the Grand Floridian, just to cross it off my list ;)

My favorite resort=Hands down, the Polynesian Club Level. Absolutely amazing and magical experience!

Least favorite=Hmm, I guess it would be Coronado Springs. I didn't dislike it & I certainly wouldn't complain if we had to stay there again, it was just my least favorite out of all of them. Seemed out of touch compared to the other WDW resorts and I didn't care for the spread out feeling of it.

If I won a contest and could stay anywhere in any room, though, it would be a suite at the Polynesian:cloud9:

My goal is to stay at every disney world hotel, so far:

All-star sports x4
All-star movie x2
All-star music x2 ( regular and family suite)
Pop century x3
Art of Animation x2 ( Little mermaid and Finding Nemo)
Coronado x2
Port Orleans Riverside
Caribean Beach
Animal Kingdom - jambo
Polynesian
Wilderdness -CL
Beach Club
Boardwalk

Disney Magic

Will be adding Animal kingdom Kidani and Saratoga in Dec.

Have a hard time deciding favorite, but if I had to pick I would say Polynesian or Animal Kingdom.

Some stays were much longer than others and we were only at FW one day. Lets see if I can remember. We starting going every year since 2000 and went on our honeymoon in 1996 and I went 3 times before 1976, 1991, 1992 but only stayed on Disney property one of those.

All Star Sports 2x, Movies 2x and Music 2x
Pop Century 3x

Port Orleans French Quarter 1x
Port Orleans Riverside 2x and once when it was still Dixie Landings
Coronado Springs2x
Caribbean Beach 3x

Wilderness Lodge 2x
Animal Kingdom Lodge 2x
Saratoga Springs 1x
Fort Wilderness 1 day

have stayed at AKL, PORS

/
Disney Institute (yes, we are old)
Contemporary (wings and tower)
Bay Lake Tower (great w/kids)
Polynesian
Yacht Club (favorite by far that's not a DVC)
Old Key West
Beach Club
Boardwalk Inn
Boardwalk Villas (our favorite DVC - most stays)
Saratoga Springs (hate the loud a/c in rooms)
Wilderness Lodge
Carribean Beach
Dolphin (during conferences)
Port Orleans French Quarters (only moderate - but really enjoyed it)
Hilton Downtown
Buena Vista Palacenever did a value - so cannot comment
This is 2 to 3 trips a year over 38 years

Have stayed at:

Polynesian (as a child)
Grand Floridian (honeymoon)
Port Orleans Riverside
Port Orleans French Quarter
Caribbean Beach
Pop Century

I would love to stay at the Poly again. I have not been there since I was a child. The cost has kept us away! Our favorite hands down is Riverside.

Wildness Lodge (multiple times)
Fort Wilderness
Boardwalk (multiple times)
Polynesian
Grand Floridian
Coronado Springs
Beach Club
Port Orleans Riverside (multiple times - even back when it was Dixie Landings)
Caribbean Beach (twice)

My favorites were Poly and Boardwalk when we stayed concierge.

Least favorites were Coronado and and CB

Here's our listing...

Bay Lake Villas
Wilderness Lodge Villas
Polynesian (Club Level)
Wilderness Lodge (Club Level and Regular Room)
Caribbean Beach
Port Orleans (now POFQ)
Grand Floridian
and a few in Lake Buena Vista Village (Dutch ??? Resort)

My favorite... this is hard Wilderness Lodge and BLT...

Least favorite...Caribbean Beach, moldy shower and despite several phone calls this wasn't resolved until almost our last day there, YUCK!!! When I showed front desk manager photos, we were comped two or three days.....

I've stayed at
Polynesian
Carribbean Beach
All Star Music
Wilderness Lodge
Dixie Landing
Port Orleans - French Quarter
Shades of Green
Pop Century
Disney Institute
Travel Lodge in the Village
And this October All Star Movies

My favorite by far is Wilderness Lodge!

All the all stars
Carribean Beach
Coronado springs
Pop Century
AOA
Swan and the dolphin
POFQ
Fort wilderness
AKL
Wilderness Lodge
Don't have a fave- I guess POFQ because I love the grounds.
I'm really excited to stay at Shades of a Green when my honey gets back from deployment.
Wasn't crazy about Coronado Springs....

We have stayed at quite a few, but mostly through DVC.

Animal Kingdom Lodge (pre-DVC)
Animal Kingdom Villas
Beach Club Villas
Boardwalk Villas
Contemporary (pre-DVC)
Grand Floridian (pre-DVC)
Wilderness Lodge Villas
Old Key West
Saratoga Springs

Our favorite ever since our first on property stay has been Animal Kingdom Lodge, hence why we own at the villas now. Our least favorite was the Contemporary, the rooms weren't to our style, and our room still had a bunch of trash in it when we entered. I hope to stay at the Polynesian some day.

I've stayed at the following:

Fort Wilderness
Caribbean Beach
Contemporary
Disney Institute
All Stars Sports & Music Resort
Wilderness Lodge

My favorite was always Fort Wilderness, but now I've added The Wilderness Lodge to that list. I LOVE it there!

My least favorites were definitely Disney Institute and All Stars. They just didn't feel like Disney to me, and the AS was noisy with shouting children and teenagers 24/7. It was impossible to get any sleep. (And the All Stars we stayed at only because my brother-in-law prepared the trip himself, not even asking us for any input... and he knew nothing of Disney). :sad2:

The one resort I've always wanted to stay in at least once is The Grand Floridian!

Resorts I've stayed at:
Polynesian
Boardwalk
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Caribbean Beach
Port Orleans French Quarter
Wilderness Lodge
Grand Floridian
Fort Wilderness
Animal Kingdom Lodge (staying in September!)

Favorite: Tie between Poly and Boardwalk goes to Polynesian due to proximity to monorail and the feeling of ultimate relaxation and being "away from it all" the resort gives...and the Tiki Torch ceremony! We love the Poly!

Least Favorite: Grand Floridian. We found the rooms were tired and the walls too thin when we stayed. (late 2012)

Want to try: Contemporary Tower

All star sports
All star music
All star movies
Dixie landing(Por)
PORFQ
CSR
FW
POP

Really loved the French Quarter! That's probably my favorite! Idk why just really like the whole look of the resort! and I'm from New Orleans lol

Least favorite would have to be probably the POP. It's not bad at all just like any Disney hotel. But the theming just seems way to over the top and doesn't come together well. Plus it's always overcrowded.

Staying at AoA in December! In the lion king family suites. Really excited about this resort. But my all time wish list is, Contemporary, Poly, and WL. Me and GF are planning a trip for September. 2015 to stay at one of those three.

In order of preference: 1 - Dixie Landings and Riverside 2 - Polynesian 3 - Grand Floridian I couldn't get past the smell in the GF lobby (too strong) and I missed the old Victorian style wallpaper and bedspreads. Everything was white, like a barely furnished basement. Poly is always near and dear to my heart, but on my last trip I had lagoon view and didn't like the boat horn every 15 mins. Plus I realized I actually like having a break from the magic, and Poly is right in the middle of it all. POR is lush and beautiful and quiet with no overbearing smells, so it wins first place for me. Sleep so well there. Have rezzies at AKV Jambo and can't wait as most people say it is also very peaceful. Would love to try CSR, Dolphin, Beach Club, Yacht Club, CBR, Aulani, OKW, Treehouse Villas.
