So how is the Christmas shopping coming along?

So how are you all doing? I'm waiting for one more package to arrive that I almost forgot about.. That one also includes the slippers for myself that I need - ah - yesterday.. LOL.. I wanted a special kind and looked and looked until I found just the right ones at an awesome price online on BF..

All set with wrapping paper and such (I get it extremely cheap up at the lake in May - the really heavy stuff - super thick rolls for $1 each), but what did I forget? Tape.. LOL.. Hopefully I threw a bunch in the wrapping container last year..

I'm in pretty good shape but I need to step away from the computer I keep seeing all these great deals on the Budget board and I end up buying stuff I don't need because it's a good price Not very 'budget' of me...for example, yesterdasy someone posted that a video game was on sale for $10. Well, I had already bought it for $30 last month but I went ahead and bought another one(of the exact same game) beacause it was so cheap. I need an intervention.

I am basically done. I have to get some stocking stuffers and gifts for our 3 Godchildren but that is it. Our kids helped us out this year by asking for expensive presents so they are not getting that many things--which is good because we are traveling this year and we won't have to bring as much along either .

Now I just have to wrap them. Someone here said they use a code to label their gifts so the kids don't know what present belongs to which kid. I am going to do that but I have to think up codes to use for the 3 kids--open to ideas!!

i would say the easiest code,would be to use different wrapping paper,for each child.really easy to remember

I am pretty far along-- can't believe only 2.5 weeks left! Absolutely nothing is wrapped, although I did buy wrapping paper and I'm pretty sure I have enough ribbon left over from last year.
DBF is basically done, although his birthday is the 26th and I have absolutely NO idea. I used up all of my good ideas for Christmas!!
I bought a few stocking stuffers for my mom, and my brother and I just need to go to Home Depot to get her a GC (What she wants!). I need to go to Sephora to get my dad the men's cologne sampler set.
DBF's sister and older brother are done, but I still need to get a gift for his other brother and baby cousin. I go in with DBF to give cash to his parents. My brother is done-- birthday and Christmas (his birthday is Christmas Day!) Brother's girlfriend is also done, but in addition to their Christmas presents, I am doing a "going away" basket for them for their big trip to Ireland in January. (Fast food gc's for the airport, sudoku books, magazines, etc.)
The doggie's gifts still need to be bought, too!
Wow, when you put it like that, even though I mostly know what I NEED to get, I still have to go get a lot of it!!
