Just a heads up for anyone if you decide to RD Soarin instead of TT - it can be a bit chaotic. We rope dropped Soarin in Nov 2015 and were held before the walk through area near Character Spot. When we arrived with our kids, there were probably 20-30 people ahead of us - not bad at all. As we waited for them to "drop the rope," more and more people gathered behind us. People started edging up on the sides all around. When they let people start walking, it was a free for all. As we walked up the ramp to the Land building, people filled in the entire path. My husband ran to park the stroller and met up with us, but once we got in the sliding door, it was at a stand still because people were flooding in from the right side, causing everyone on the middle and left to not be able to move at all. You are only allowed to go to the right. It was a slow crawl around the curve and down the stairs. We made it downstairs and got a rider swap. My DH ended up waiting at least 30 minutes in line with our kids. I felt horrible. Once we finished doing rider swap, the entire process had taken a very, very long part of our morning.
I'm sure if all three concourses are running it will probably be better, but be forewarned, Soarin at rope drop can be a real mess.
