We booked a 1 bdrm @ SSR yesterday for 12/2-12/7 :cool1: Now if I call at the seven month window and want to try and get a 1 bdrm at BWV but I have to wait list it, how does that work? Do I wait list the entire stay sine we have no desire to move resorts? Do I have to keep calling to check on it or will DVC call me when it's available? Sorry to sound dense about this, but we have never used the wait list. TIA

If you don't want to change resorts in the middle of your vacation, you would have to waitlist for the entire stay. MS no longer allows you to waitlist for individual days, anyway.

That said, if some but not all of the days were available when you called, you could book the days that were available and waitlist for the rest. For example, let's say that 12/2, and 12/5 were available so you reserved those. Then you would have a waitlist for 12/3 -12/4 (two nights) and a waitlist for 12/6 (assume you are checking out on 12/7).

Again, if you do not want to chance moving, then you would waitlist for 12/2 - 12/7 (all 5 nights). MS will not hold any individual nights for you waiting for the rest to become available. - all 5 nights would have to be available at the same time for your waitlist to work.

You do not have to call to check - the waitlists are worked automatically.
