This is the conversation that I just had with my DS6:

DS: Mom?
Me: Yes.
DS: I can spell couch!
Me: That's great, let's hear it.
DS: Leans over the chair and says, N-A-T-U-Z-Z-I
Me: That's the name of the people who made it.
DS: Oh, so how do you spell chouch?

So, how do you spell couch?

LoL, very adorable.... the power of advertising. We've had a few of those with my girls too.

Except the funniest was when my 4 year old was having eye surgery last year, she was being her usual adorable self waiting to go back. The doctor came up and she was coloring and the doctor asked her some questions and she responded and then the doctor thought he'd stump her by asking her how to spell purple... she's only 4 remember. So she answers VIOLET! We couldn't believe it. Still have no idea why she answered with violet and where she learned violet from even.
