...does a pool get after three solid days of rain?

I'm about to find out and I am only doing it for the kids.

I don't like cold pools. I freeze.

I remember going camping and we had to wait until it hit 70 degrees before we could go swimming in the lake. It didn't matter how much we were shivering, we tried to convince our parents it was warm enough. Luckily for them and maybe us too, they didn't have to go with us.

Mine dropped about 3 degrees over 5 days of cloudiness and rain. I think it helped that it was still hot and humid. Good luck with that I hate cold pools too-anything below 85 is frigid to me and I used to go swimming in Lake Superior where it averages 55 over the summer

Ours dropped about 15 degrees in three or four days of rain, but it was also only in the upper 50's/low 60's during the day, and prior to the rain we'd used the heater to bring the pool up about 30 degrees, then turned the heater off (follow all that?)

I just ran out and checked ours. It went from 88 down to 83. We had over 5 inches of rain in 2 days and I did keep the solar cover on it. But now it is full up to the top and really needs to be shocked!!! Need some more SUN

It actually was not that bad. Colder than my liking (no idea the temp) and certainly colder than last week...but much much warmer when we first got in on June 1st.

I was secretly wondering why they don't heat pools up "North" (DC area)--it felt like an ice cube.

But today--cold--but not icy, so not bad.

My pond dropped 5 degrees over the past 3 days so I'm guessing your pool will be pretty darn chilly!

After lots of rain you will want to watch that algae level. We usually have to shock it big time after lots of rain. We have an above ground pool and we bought a heater for it. I don't get a lot of sunshine in my yard and I need warm water to swim in.

Oh this is an Apartment Complex pool. They take care of it .
