I made my SUV reservation with National several months ago for a 9 day trip and got about $270. I went to check it again today with the same codes I've used (clearing the cache) and it's jumped to a little over $338! Thank goodness I've already got my reservation!

I used the Priceless Vacations Contract Code which I believe was suppose to bypass the concession free, but it came up in the new search. Did anyone notice that???

A side note, the Product Rates codes expire today...do you thin that's somethign to do with it?

Mine went down, booked yesterday. Used the Priceless code and the concession fee is not in there.
Just ran it again. No concession fee and the total for 10 days for a full size car is : 250.15. Used the priceless code and the entertainment coupon. This is for Sept.

I just tried again this morning, same WWEB code, same priceless vacations code, same entertainment coupon that I used for months and it still came up $338 for an SUV in September. I wonder if they are putting the concession for SUVs and not other vehicles. Weird. I'll keep trying, but it doesn't work I'll be happy with my $270 original reservation (THAT took me months to get!)

This morning I was playing with the various codes for our mid Oct. trip. When you put in the WWEB code and use Priceless, you do get charged the concession fee. And when you don't use WWEB, you don't get charged the fee but you lose the good weekly rate (went from 175/wk to 209/wk). For me it is better to use WWEB and pay the fee.

Take that WWEB code out.

whenever I put that WWEB code it my base rate goes up, the concession fees goes in and it costs me more money.

I think the difference is the dates of our trips. The Sept. rates look really good right now. I will just keep checking back as it gets closer to October.

I believe my rental is also for a full size for 10 days. It is 9/10-9/20, 11 am pick up & 3:30pm drop off. My original Priceless/Ent ressie totals 262.15, the new one is about 280. I am not using WWEB. Am I doing something wrong, or is it the dates I am using?
Thanks!

Your rates are higher because you actually have an 11 day rental.

Why did you make a new reservation? 262.15 is pretty good.

Come on, I'm a member of the DIS! I'll keep checking, in hopes of a better rate. Is it worth checking Alamo, Avis, etc consistently as well, or is it unlikely I'll find better? The rate I have is without the concession fee- has everyone without a concession fee had their total resservation honored?

I hope I'm doing this right. We have a reservation for Sept. 13-20 for an intermediate car using the priceless and entertainment book codes. We got it for $143.32. We booked this a few weeks ago. Today, when I try getting the same car for the same dates, it comes to $150.99. Should I be happy with my original reservation and stop trying for a lower price? Thanks for any info!

Checking is great, I do it all the time. I took it that you were cancelling and rebooking, not shopping.
yes, it is worth checking, but, don't make it your life's work. :)
There is no problem without the concession fee, what is printed is what they honor.
