For those of you going Presidents weekend, here is some good weather news:

Thurs 2/13 - 70 degrees with 20 percent chance of rain
Fri 2/14 - 77 degrees with 20 percent chance of rain
Sat 2/15 - 81 / 20%
Sun 2/16 - 74 / 0%
Mon 2/17 - 72 / 0%
Tues 2/18 - 73 / 0%

I know it's a bit early to look at weather, but hey, I like trying to imagine what 81 degrees feels like! Besides, for those of us who are flying next week and are a bit nervous about it, I think we need a little cheering up!

Looking good! :bounce: Leaving in time before the next big freeze here in Mass.:bounce:

You're nervous too, huh, Barb?

I just keep telling myself that Disney is the 'Happiest place on earth' and nothing is going to go wrong... :)

Ahhhhhhh, Mamu and Mad Madam Mim (why do I feel like that should be a line from a Mad Max or James Bond movie? he-he.) I usually don't worry about these kind of things. Really, I do believe that we all need to go on with our lives and not worry about what "might" happen. But Murphy's Law has taken hold of DH and my families. DH's grandmother passed away yesterday (she was 95 and very ill for a long time), and my dad has taken ill. So we are riddled with worry and guilt, even though we have blessings from both our families to go and enjoy ourselves.

Now I hear that Washington DC has a up'ed its flying security, and don't ya know, we change planes in DC.

This is NOT how vacation is supposed to start.

Did I mention that it's supposed to be 81 degrees on Saturday? ;)

Sorry I vented, but thanks, I feel better now.

Barb so sorry to hear about DH Grandmother. Good thoughts and prayers your Dad will be feeling better soon.

All I know is I'm out of here soon, but not soon enough. Looks like snow on Wednesday Grrrrrrr. Hopefully we will get out on time. I'm sick of frigid weather, sick of snow and ice, sick of looking a bare trees. Can't wait to see a palm tree, a flower and looks like a few green ribbons. With or without green ribbons my grandcildren call me Mamu. :) No mistaken that name. :)

Have a Magical trip. :bounce:

Hey everybody! Don't be scared, that's what they want..........for us to live in fear. They've upped the security and we'll be protected. Heck, I work at Medieval Times here in New Jersey, I've been there on and off since it opened 13 years ago and we're now checking packages when our guests arrive.

Scary you might say, I say NO, not scary at all. Better safe than sorry, if they didn't do it then I would say that would be scary.

Looking forward to getting out of the cold weather myself!

Oh, sounds wonderful! Here we are waiting for yet another snowstorm. I can`t wait to get out of here! Palm trees and green everywhere......... YES!! Have a great time everyone! Bev

It does sound pretty nice--if it's right.
But as I watch them fumble around with my local forecast for just the next 12 HOURS, I have very little confidence in any predictions 3-5-10 days out.
Hope the weather does turn out good!!

Thanks for all your well wishes folks! Inlaws made it back from SW Florida for the funeral. (They'll be meeting up with us in Orlando this weekend.) And after nine hours in the ER with my dad yesterday, he seems to be on the mend. He has a severe case of gout in his arm, neck and knee. They found some meds that seem to work well for him SO WE CAN LEAVE TOMORROW! YIPPEEE! (My mom doesn't drive, and I'm the only kid in the area...)

Ugh, I still haven't gotten my green ribbon!

See ya there...
