So we sold our house in Alaska and bought a 42 foot Safar Panther last November. I made reservations in August for our 16th wedding anniversary October 28th to November 11th! (31st is our anniversary). We made it to Florida and I got reservations for the Fort for the 18th so excited.

This probably takes the win for furthest travel to the Fort... at least by road.

Congrats! And if you haven't been to the Fort yet, it is a little different than Alaska.

Ya it was quite the Ride! It will be the first at The fort but not Disney world. I have been doing a lot of lurking on the camping board and you guys are so helpful here.

Yes we became full time RVers and love it. We have seen so much since we left Alaska. Even went to Disneyland and the Disney family museum in San Francisco, which was really awesome!

I'd love to be able to become a full time RV'r but I think I would still want a "Home Base" somewhere.

Doesn't matter though because unless I win the lottery, it's not going to happen anytime soon.
