We have booked our trip! We will be in Disneyland from July 14th for 5 fabulous days! We fly our early on the 19th.

I have a couple questions though...

1. Our package (through Alaska Airlines) includes our Park Hoppers and a Magic Morning. Do I need to call and arrange this with Disney? Also I noticed the park hopper tickets were a lot cheaper ($777 for 5 tickets-2 adults, 1 12yo, 1 10 yo and 1 9 yo) and although happy about the deal, I am slightly worried that I will get there and have a problem. Anyone else use this deal?

2. We are using the Disneyland Resort Express to get from the airport to the Tropicana. Our departing flight leaves at 8 am....is this going to be a problem? Should I figure a taxi or??? I guess I worry but I know the bus starts at 6.

Thanks for any help.

You are going to have so much fun. I can't really help you with your questions but concerning the magic morning, when we bought hopper passes (14 day ones from Australia) we took them to the ticket office in the morning and they gave us our proper passes which included a magic morning. We didn't have to organise anything else.

1. May be some confusion here. If it is a Park Hopper with a Magic Morning, this is included on your park hopper, no extra ticket. You can consider it as a credit on the ticket that can be used on one Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday during your visit. It will let you in the park an hour befor general guests are let in.

You should not have any problems. Lots of people have used AA packages.

2. I don't think you can get to LAX before 7am on Disneyland Express. You might want to rent a car, there are rental desks in a couple hotesl near by with shuttles to their lots. But this will take up some more time. You might consider a taxi or shuttle service. There is some information in this thread.

I am not going to LAX, I am going to John Wayne. I hope that will make it easier.

That should help, closer and smaller airport. But still might be tight. Do you know what the Disneyland Express schedule is? It's probably on the net somewhere.

Here is the Disneyland express brochure:

Looks like the earliest they drop off at SNA is 6:30am

Thank you! It looks like our best bet is to be on the 5:40 am bus on the way out. I didn't think it would take an hour to get to the airport. It is only 10.29 miles from the airport. I will have to make sure to save cab fare out in case we get stuck at the hotel.

They're allowing time for "rush" hour traffic.

The reason why it take 50 minutes to cover the 10 miles is it's not a direct route. It picks up at other hotels and then you may have to change buses. The DLH is the Anaheim " bus terminal" where you might have to switch, but is the last stop for most buses going to the airports. So it's basically 30 minutes from the DLH to airport which is realistic.
