So excited! Just switched ressie to WL from CSR!

Hi all!
DH and I are heading down to WDW Aug 31-Sept 4 (over Labor Day Weekend). DH has never been to WDW. I LOVE WL, but when we booked, no standard view rooms were available with the free DDP. So instead of booking a more expensive room at WL, we decided to book CSR. Well, I was playing around online and a standard view room became available w/ free dining! Called central reservations right away and booked the room. It was only $300 more than CSR! I'm thrilled!

We are staying at WL 8-4 to 8-12 for the first time. We have eaten there a few times but this will be our first stay. I am soooooooo excited.

I went to disneyworld.com and clicked on the special free dining offer. At that point, you can select your dates and desired hotel. Room availability and pricing will then come up. When I saw a standard view room available, I immediately called CRO and had my reservation changed to WL. Right after, I checked disneyworld.com and no standard views were available with the free dining fpr my chosen dates. I think I may have just gotten lucky with a cancellation. Still, it seems that some of the availability has been changing lately. I wonder if people are changing their hotels?

and to top it all off....last night I called the ADR line and asked for a reservation at Kona on Labor Day. We'll be going to the P&PP that night and I've been trying to get an early dinner ADR at Kona for some time now with no luck. They were able to get us in at 5 without any issue. Guess it was just my lucky day!

congrats. we wanted 2rooms at WL but only available at woods view which was too many extra dollars. we have 2 rooms csr and waterview king bed connecting to 2 doubles. im actually glad now because i like the spread out resorts better in the summer. Will try WL sometime when I stay in winter so i can cosy up in front of the fireplace. enjoy!

If you're still interested in WL, it may be worth calling to see if your dates have become available. Seems that the availability has been changing over the last few days. CSR is beautiful too. I'm sure you'll have an amazing time!
