Hi - I'm new here as far as posting. However I have gotten lots of info from all you folks by reading. Anyway, So excited. Just booked our trip for Sept 12-Sept 19 at Pop. Me my husband and our five year old. Can't wait. Booked our package through SWA Vacations. First had booked 09-05 to 09-12 then realized it was Night of Joy weekend so we backed our trip up a week later. Now ralize we cna particpate in MNSSHP. Is it really worth the extra $$$ for tickets to go to MNSSHP? Thanks. :cheer2:

We took our DD on her first trip last year when she was 3 1/2 and we went to a MNSSHP. She loved it so much that she chose it again this year over adding water parks on to our tickets.

I think it's worth it.

It was neat to see the parade. The Hallowishes fireworks was great.
Going trick or treating was fun. If we went that time again we'd definately do MNSSHP.

We have been to MNSSHP twice and I think it's really worth it. The first year we went our kids were younger ( 2 and just 5) and it was nice because we were able to go on alot of rides with no lines. The second time we went, our kids were 4 and 6 and it was awesome, we went on splash mountain 3x without exiting - love to tell people that! and everyone in our group went on BTMRR without me and the 4 year old. We went on line to see Brer Bear... well they were off the ride before we got our autograph. Space Mountain? 3 or 4 x in a row, Haunted Mansion? walk right in.. it is worth it not to wait on line. I don't go for the trick or treating. It's just a diversion!
The parade is wonderful too, I love the music they play when you are waiting, you can't get it out of your head.
The best part is, if you don't need to use a day of tickets if you have non-expiring passes or even a limited number of day. You can use the day as a pool day or shopping day or visit Fort Wilderness and then go to the MK when the party starts. At least that's how it worked for us last year. We even got in early!
Definately worth it in my opinion, especially eary on, I understand it books up in late October.

:cool1: glad to hear a bunch of great reports!! it will be our first party-and were very excited!! :Pinkbounc :rotfl2: :dance3:

Absolutely worth it! We made that our pool day and swam until noon or so. Ate lunch and we all took a nap, then got ready and was at MK around 4 o'clock. It was an awsome night! :goodvibes

Thank you everyone! You helped me decide and spend the money! Sounds like a great time and I am sure our son will just love it!!!

When I went on my second trip, my (adult) friends were insisting that we all (including my 7-YO DD) go to the MNSSHP and I had a fit. LOL! Told them I'd go to the store and buy us $20 worth of candy instead. How on Earth could it be worth it? LOL!

However, I caved, and it was fantastic! DD had a great time, and so did I. If I didn't work for a school district, I'd be going in Oct. rather than Aug. However, I can't take time off, so no MNSSHP for me anytime soon.
