It's not even to our "home" resort (we're staying at SSR) and my DH isn't going (time of year too busy :( ) but it'll be myself, my 2 sons and my mom. I just bought all four of our tickets RT from Columbus to Orlando for 1036.00!! :cool1: Not bad! I'm stoked now that we have the ressie AND airfare done! Woo! Sorry, just wanted to share some excitement

Congratulations!! We just took our first trip to WDW and bought DVC while we were there. We ended up extending our trip and staying at SSR for four nights.
It was so nice there! We were in the congress park section in a one bedroom. From the bedroom we could see the down town disney fireworks at night! (Well the ones up high anyway)! We were also near the quiet pool there, which is gorgeous!
I told my daughter that they looked like very nice condo buildings and we liked the fact that when we were there it was so relaxing. It was nice for helping my grandson wind down and relax after a busy day at the parks!
I can hardly wait for our first visit to Animal Kingdom though! That will be great!

Congrats to you! Our first trip will also be SSR next April- Also not our home resort but we are so excited! Have a great time!

Have a wonderful time and don't forget to post when your return! :)

You will love the SSR. It is a great place for a family. The pool area is exciting. They offer just for guest of the SSR a dozen or so activities. We were there last week and some things they did was play bingo which was for all ages, made ice cream, arts and crafts, On Mondays they show a movie by the pool. Floral arrangement making, those are a few I can remember.
We had a great time.
