Thanks so much for posting this - I was considering booking a late Nov/early Dec. 2018 stay & have a Dec. use year - and remembered it was complicated to do but didn't remember how to do it, now I know for when my 11 months open up. I wonder will I have to wait a couple of days between reservation 1 and 2 for the 11 month window to open to make the second reservation?

Probably, if you want to do it online - I'm not sure,though.

But call MS after you book the November nights and have the CM add the December nights to your reservation. That way you will still get the "check-in + 7" advantage and won't have to compete with anyone else for the December nights you need (assuming you were able to book the November nights). Early December is very popular and especially if you want a studio, there is LOTS of competition for certain booking categories.

Thanks - I'll do it that way & report back Although we prefer 1 br.s, so the competition is a bit less intense for those.

Wow, I never knew you could do that! I have a Dec use year too, and had resigned myself to never be able to get the first week of Dec. So member services will cross the use year for me in Nov? How long has this been going on? I can't do it online.

MS has always been able to do it. It's just online that you never could so even once online booking was up you needed to call MS to have a continuous reservation across your UY.
