So Disappointed in Nine Dragons!

Really sorry to hear they may be falling down. My wife and I go there as our 1st meal every vistit (6 times and counting). We will be there next week and will see if indeed it was a one-time bad luck for you or now a continual decline.

My family went to Nine Dragons for the first time about 3 or 4 years ago. We had a last minute change in plans one day and found ourselves at Epcot without a dinner reservation. We decided to try Nine Dragons and were able to get a table as a walk-in. After everything that I'd heard here, we were pleasantly surprised how good our meal was. Even the 2 picky eaters in my family enjoyed it. Since that time we have returned here on every trip (were there twice last year, last time in Nov.) and have enjoyed it each time. It is near the top of the list of my family's requested restaurants for our next trip in November. So I'm really hoping that the restaurant was just having a bad night when the OP was there.

It was either a choice between nine dragons a month ago, and coral reef, well most of the family, outruled me, and decded chinese. Now this post is unsettling. And Coral Reef is booked solid now. So my question is this. For the people who like ND. What did you order, that was good?

This is my promise to update on Nine Dragons. My wife and i ate there May 17th. it was fabulous. We both had appetizers which were great. My Spicy Kung Pao Chicken was fantastic as was my wife's General Tao Chicken. Sorry others didn't like their experience.

My family (parents and I) really like Nine Dragons.

We seem to end up there every trip and always get the Honey Sesame Chicken.

It's on par with a P.F. Chang's (I don't know, but that might only be a Chicago/Midwest thing). Anyway, on the dining plan, it's reasonable, but I don't know if I would have DINNER there without it. I would go for LUNCh though, as the food is the same, but less expensive (and smaller portions).

If I were anybody considering this place, I wouldn't schedule an ADR, because they almost alwasy have availibility, but I wouldn't rule it out as a last minute change or addition to the plans...

The honey sesame chicken is very good IMO.
