and her parents/"handlers" for this whole Vanity Fair fiasco. What was she thinking? What were they thinking? At best, it's a case of extremely poor judgment. What is the rationale for a 15-year-old posing this way under any circumstances? The "artsy" defense just doesn't cut it with me, sorry.
I am sure I could get flamed for this opinion, but I'm just so disappointed on many levels. With a 15 year old daughter of my own who has grown up idolizing Miley/Hannah like millions of others, it saddens me that Miley and her parents/handlers are going to choose this unfortunate route. (Could they at least wait until she's 18 for this kind of stuff?)
Is it just one lapse in judgment and I'm being far too quick to condemn? Perhaps. But again, I'm trying to think of a scenario where I would agree to have my 15-year old pose without a top--even in the name of "art." Surely Miley and company didn't need the money.
Here's hoping I'm way out of line and that I'm rushing to judgment that I shouldn't.
